"When did you have the time to get them these gifts?" Boss said as he gathered the two big shopping bags at the back seat. "We've been together on those back to back events these past couple of weeks but I never saw you going to the mall to shop."

"Oh, I got those before we got busy. I bought some stuff for my parents for the holidays. I figured I should get something for your parents, too, to thank them for all the kindness they've shown me," Noeul said nonchalantly as he got their bags to help Boss. "I was on my way to check out when I saw a couple of stuff for your sister. I just knew they'd look good on her so I had them wrapped as well." He smiled excitedly, looking forward to the look on the little girl's face when she sees the gifts.

Boss stopped on his tracks. He'd be a fool if he let go of this wonderful person beside him. Noeul always thought about him and genuinely cared about the people he loves.

"Baby," He said, putting a hand out in front of Noeul to stop him from going further into the house. "You know they'd love you just the same even if you don't come bearing gifts, do you? And please, you're spoiling my little sister," he said looking straight into Noeul's eyes.

"I know," Noeul said smiling. "I just thought Auntie would look great in that," indicating the shopping bag in Boss' hand.

Boss could see the twinkle in Noeul's eyes when he talked about the stuff he bought. Nothing like shopping to excite the man he loves. He really should work harder if he wants to see that twinkle in Noeul's eyes often. Boss can't help letting out a chuckle with this new realization.

"What's so funny?" Noeul asked suspiciously.

"Nothing. I'm just thankful," Boss said, spreading his arms that are still holding the shopping bags, waiting for Noeul to hug him. The latter got his message and slipped his arms to Boss' waist to give him a hug. Boss then pulled him closer and nuzzled the crook of his neck. "I love you, baby," he whispered.

By this time, Noeul knew what was expected of him. "I love you," he said, deciding to just enjoy this moment instead of entertaining any unwanted thoughts his overly active mini honies are shouting.

"You're here!"

The main door to the house suddenly opened revealing Boss' mom, smiling from ear to ear, her arms wide open, waiting for a hug. Noeul hurriedly pushed Boss away from him but the latter didn't let go and just turned his head to look at his mother. When he saw the teasing look on his mom's face, he reluctantly let go of Noeul.

"Hi mom," he said, smiling at the woman who's arms are still waiting.

"Welcome back, Eul. Oh how I've missed you!" Boss mom said, gathering Noeul in her arms, giving him a big hug.

"Oh, hello Auntie. Thank you for inviting me," Noeul said shyly, hugging Boss' mom back.

"I've told you countless times to just call me mom, too. You're no stranger here," Boss' mom told Noeul while leading him into the house.

"Good job mom," Boss thought to himself.

Boss followed the two people he loves inside. He couldn't stop himself from smiling seeing how warmly his mom was welcoming Noeul. The latter shyly answering his mom's questions.

His mom brought them to the inner family room where he saw his dad and sister waiting.

"Hi, dad," he greeted his ailing father but everyone's attention was on Noeul.

"Honey, look who's here!" Boss' mom beamed as she showed Noeul to her husband.

"Hello, Uncle. How are you?" Noeul said, paying respect to the man seated at the corner sofa.
