The season already started and so far, we have three straight wins under our belts and no loss. It surely gives the team a morale boost because we weren't able to find our synergy last season causing us to fall short. This year though, we're really feeling it. Everyone's pumped up to do their best during training sessions and games and our rookies were not afraid to step up whenever they need to. There were four more games for the first elimination round and each game was getting tougher. Of course, that translated to more practice hours on top of social life and academic life.
We're actually lucky to have been given a day off today. Most of my teammates decided to spend theirs by hanging out with their blockmates. Some of us opted to catch up on schoolwork but as for me, I've been here on my bed in the dorm for hours already. It's not that I don't have any schoolwork to do or friends but I just feel so tired and sore from the rigorous training sessions.
My phone beeped, as if it was telling me to get my lazy ass off my bed. I silently groaned as I reached for it, only to see Angel's name on the screen. Over the past month, we've been slowly rebuilding our relationship. I can't say that it's a great thing but it actually feels nice. It's starting to feel like I have an actual sister who isn't out to get me in trouble. My dad hasn't called her engagement with Tommy off. Then again, I doubt that he'd call it off. It's going to make the merger between the two companies better. Damn, it kind of feels like those television series. I really don't know what's going on between the two anymore. They've been going out more often, from what I can see in social media.

You free right now?
To: Angel Huang
No. My bed doesn't want to let me go.

Good. I'm here at Barkin' Blends with Tommy. We'll see you in a few, yeah?
To: Angel Huang
...damn it.
"You're the devil's incarnate," I muttered when I saw her and Tommy sitting by one of the tables. Angel chuckled and Tommy smiled as he shook his head.
"I knew you'd give in the moment I mention Barkin' Blends," Angel grinned.
"It's not nice to exploit someone's weakness," I huffed as they stood up.
We all paid for our 2-hour stay in the dog zone before going in. The dogs were all around and I couldn't help but smile. I just want to take them all home.
"Why did you call me here, by the way?" I asked the two of them once we were settled on the floor. Skye, a Siberian husky, padded his way to where we were before settling down beside me. Automatically, my hand brushed at his fur gently. "Hindi niyo naman siguro ako papapuntahin dito ng wala lang,"
The two exchanged looks before they explained.
"Do you remember that time when I told you about a guy that I like?" Angel slowly spoke. I nodded. "Well, it turns out that Tommy used to be his schoolmate back in high school. According to Tommy..."
