I wasn't planning on updating this one right now due to some grammatical error situation, more like i wasn't satisfied with it. But some of you saw it. So... I'll just post it. But beware I might change it later.

"I pity the kingdom of Antharv.... the king who doesn't know what happens in his palace is their leader.... the king who blindly believes what anyone says.... let me tell you King Atharva, people around you don't tell the truth always. I am not the one who killed an innocent life... you are! " Tears flowed down Salil's face by the end of his rant. Atharva remembered this scene, he could see himself standing, confused, contemplating. He wanted to rush forward and stop Salil from doing the unthinkable, he knew what happened next, and he did not wish to see it happen but he had to. It was like someone had cast a spell on him, holding him in place, forcing him to watch his beloved's demise once again.
"I-I... cou..ldn't... be.. a good... mother... my child... I'm sorry...." A few tears escaped Salil's eyes.
"King A-Atharva... I wish... I never loved you.... and if I get ano..ther ch-chance at life,... I wish... to nev..er cross paths with you...." said the dying prince as he pushed the dagger deeper into his with a smile chest.
And it happened again. Atharava wanted to scream, shout, and tear his foolish self, standing a few steps away, into pieces but it felt like he was rooted to his place, his voice taken away from him. The only thing he could do was let out silent tears as scenes of his past life played before his eyes. Why was he so foolish? Why did he not trust his heart, which always knew that Salil was innocent? Why did he fall into the traps laid by those treacherous people? He was a failure. Even after knowing the truth in his next life, he could save his partner and child. He let them die again. When the only one who deserved to die was him. And even after all this, he hoped to meet his angels when he took his own life like a coward. How could he even wish for such mercy after all the sins he had committed? How could he even hope to get his beloved's forgiveness?
He didn't know for how long he had been crying. His legs had long given up on him. Curled up in foetal position to hide himeself from all those dreadful memories playing on repeat instead of the dreadful dungeons of Kingdom of Antharv. Suddenly someone shook him really hard making him loose his balance. He felt like he was falling into a deep abyss He could hear voices cursing at him. Closing his eyes he accepted all those curses thrown at him. He deserved it.
Falling into the deep abyss, he had already accepted his fate. He had accepted that this was his ending was meant to be. He accepted that he didn't deserved to meet his family even in death. He had accepted the burden of his sins. He had accepted the guilt and regret that would forever weigh his conscience.
He prayed for his beloved Salil and their child. He begged the heavens to give them another chance at life. Didn't matter if he had to sacrifice his next seven lives for it to happen. He just wanted them to be happy.
All the while crying begging and praying he didn't notice that he wasn't falling anymore but lying on the bottom of seemingly bottomless dark abyss. And surprisingly, it wasn't a cold and dark place. Rather it looked oddly familiar. He remembered this place, it was the same garden where he had first met his beloved, his husband, his High King, Salil Rajvanshi. Was this afterlife? Was he finally going to meet his family? Or was this another way the fate was trying to punish him? Make him hopeful for reunion with his family & then shove him back to the deep abyss to relive the the moments of his sins? Thousands of thoughts running through his mind came to an abrupt stop the moment a he heard a very familiar voice, a voice he had craved to hear for so long.
"Its been a month... Wh- when do you plan on waking up? Or do you plan on sleeping for the rest of the eternity a-and... leave me alone? How can you even sleep so soundly? Huh?! Wakeup! Wa-Wakeup... and tell your beloved child to stop kicking up a storm in the middle of the night and let me sleep... Wa-Wakeup and get me those mango pickles from Antharv... Wa-Wakeup my idoitic husband... Do you know the entire Kingdom of Antharv is in disarray with your abrupt descison of handing over the kingdom to Swara? Do you know everyday, your family, your mother a-and sister sit by your side begging you to wake up ? How long do you plan on making them wait? How long do you plan on making me wait?!"
Atharva could hear Salil's sobbing voice but couldn't find him anywhere. His heart throbbed hearing his beloved's sobbing voice, he sounded so alone, so broken. He needed to find him. He needed to be there for him. Running around frantically, he called out for Salil till his throat ran dry but got all he got back was soft sobbing sounds of his husband. Helpless, he fell on his knees, tears falling freely from his eyes.
"Please God... He needs me... Let me see him, I beg of you..." Atharva begged the Heavens, sobbing, his hands folded. Every sob of Salil broke something inside his heart. He needed his more than he needed air to breath.
"You can go back to your beloved if you really wish for it my child. Its you yourself who is holding you back from going back to your beloved." The words echoed making Atharva look around frantically for the speaker of these words. If he could find the person maybe the person would help him get back to his family. But this time around the only different thing he could find was, a door.
With slow and calculated steps he moved towards the door. Maybe this was the way put of this place. Maybe he would find a way to get back to his family on the other side of this door.
Firmly holding the door knob he pushed the door open only to be engulfed in bright lights that made him close his eyes shut.
