Walking on the cold empty sidewalk as the people prepare for the coming of winter season. The last autumn leaf is still clinging on one branch of the tree as the blonde boy enter a small cafe between the famous boutique and fast food. A pack of wind swirled through his thin body inside the warm shop once a sharp 'ding' from the bell of the wooden creaked door, opens, announcing his presence.
"Announcing from the Grand Prix Finals, Yuri Katsuki of Japan, went straight up to the top score, knocking out the rest of the competitors and our young prodigy skater, Yuri Plisetsky, from first place! What a treat! Now live with Jeffrey Likomnshi with our winner's beloved coach, Victor Nickiforov, former ice rink with 5 gold medalist in a row and now engage, is here to express his secret for rising some superstars!"
"Victor, I hope you won't take this as an offense, but how does it feel seeing your home country getting beaten by Japan despite the fact that you've been coaching Yuri Katsuki on your own will for less than a year?"
"Well, Jeffrey, as a skater who have no experiences in coaching, this is definitely something that went well with my motto of 'surprises'. And I think I quite did well for a newbie coach like me to see him standing in first place~"
"One of the fans asked, 'What about Yuri Plisetsky? Any congratulation message for him since he used to be under your coaching too?' Do you have any response to this question?"
"Hmm... Nah. I highly doubt he would even bother watching this live after getting silver. The kid is a very passionate figure skater and a huge threat if his most hated opponent just kick his ass. Giving comments about his performance would result myself receiving dagger in my window anytime! All I can tell him is to watch out because me and Yuri won't play nice!"
"As expected from Russia's favorite!"
The news have the people's eyes and ears stuck like a glue in the screen as they listen carefully before a harsh 'SLAM' on the door got their hearts almost jolting out of the customers' in surprise as their heads all tilted to the door. At that cue, a rock guitar solo started playing before their breathings went hitched at the sight of the famous moody figure skater, Yuri Plisetsky.
The customers went dead quiet as he passed by their direction and sat on one corner near the window seats. A kid, huh... Such irony... he thought, not even the slightest pleased on how news turned his reputation upside down. With the name already trembling because of two blasted skaters named Christophe Giacometti and Jean-Jacques Leroy, it had now became Yuri Katsuki's title. He is starting to get easily red on how much he lost to these three 'pathetic garbage' and often felt like he was beginning to feel 'pathetic' himself. When his coach, Yakov, learned about this, he went back to training in the ice and ignore the thought of his defeat.
The thought of him working so hard to get that title ever since junior division, just to knock him off the floor by a skater who only joined the board recently made his blood boil hotter than the sea of magma and shoot harsh glares in the people who keeps sticking their nose into his own business.
"Those eyes better go straight to someone else's buttholes 'cause I didn't came here to watch shits about to give me a sanitizer interview..." Though his tone was surprisingly calm, his reaction says otherwise that terrified most of the people and looked away. Some even excused themselves to the bathroom while least decided to leave the place, not in the mood to deal with someone else's bad day.
"Wait! Come back!" The waiters and waitresses pleaded as they watched most of the customers take out their orders while the rest who stayed changed their seats to somewhere further. One of the workers planned to show the boss their hard work with full seats in the cafe with a picture, but just because one moody star, the cafe looks like it just opened with less customers. They know when's the time to not mess with the Russian Punk. The cafe itself is also famous like him, despite the small front that holds the best view in the spot. The back spot had been widely upgraded, but it's the scenery is not much as calming as it looks like.
