A week had passed since you last saw your crush's presence on the hockey rink you started visiting frequently. He didn't lied when he said he's pack, so you practice more on the ice and with Dmitri during your classes in ballet. Zaitsey and her partner already finished her dance piece, so she is now on break as she helps you out on getting the steps right. Every single time you fall on the floor, Dmitri has to shush all of the cackling laughter behind your back.

You put on a brave face and endured the mocking and keep picking yourself up to continue.

"One hand is enough; It's time to help yourself up"

You keep cheering for yourself and didn't let your knees gave up on you this time. You can't let him down after he helped you out. Your balance had gotten better after struggling in the ice rink, so you leveled along with the other ballet dancers during the sessions. You will not allow yourself to fall back...

"First position, second, third, forth and fifth... Good, again" Miss Lydia instructed and you are doing your hardest to keep up. Each next step after got your legs feeling jelly, but you kept your concentration the entire routine before she announce the break, making yourself dropped on the floor and massage your leg to relieve the numbness. Especially your toes.

Ballet is a mostly for skinny and slim girls...

Guess you are not like everyone else after all. Being different is easy for you. Being like the rest is harder.

"Wow, Y/n. Tired already? We didn't even break a sweat~ Since I'm nice today, I'll give 'ya some advice... Try to lose some weight. Maybe then, you'll get to perform the 'Nutcracker' with me as one of the winter fairies rather than the horse..." a girl named Emilie, mostly the best dancer in the class who's as good as Zaitsey, retorted, but you just ignore her.

...For you. You only have something others could only dreamed of. Passion.

A bitter fact for Dmitri ending up as your partner for the dance next week is very hinted. Apparently, her and Dmitri are childhood partners in ballet practices since they were 4 and when she heard that he agreed being your partner, she went bonkers and wanted a switch. Since Emilie's partner refused with my size, she's stuck with him until the performance.

"What's wrong? Cat got your tongue?"

"Looks like it" you just played along.

"Good that you know. That's where you're always good at. Stay that way for me, would 'ya?"

"Shut up, Emilie. No one asks for your opinion, so leave Lienne alone"

Suddenly, everyone's voice died down, including Emilie's when another woman walked in. She has a black hair that was tied into a bun and a strong aura that shows everyone whose more superior. Far more intimidating than Miss Lydia. Wait... Oh I know her!

"Attention, everyone. This is Lilia Baranovskaya, a prima ballet instructor and the former ballerina who danced as Clara from the 'Nutcracker'. She used to be my coach before getting my official ballet instructor license. She will be bringing us to one of her colleagues' ice rink to polish your steps today. Please be in your best behavior ..." the instructor announces, instantly terrifying me and Zaitsey.

Crap! Now I definitely know her! She's Yuri's strict ballet coach that turned him to a prima ballerina on the ice. I'm gonna be screwed... You mentally screamed in your head before flinching when her cold eyes landed to you since you're the only one on the floor. She walked into your direction before bending near your face that got you sweating a little from her dominance around the studio.

"You... are completely unfit to keep up with ballet, so I'll be the one adjusting. Hopefully, your dancing isn't as bad as it is" Your newly found confidence slightly faltered from her words, silently. You didn't even bother to speak while she signed everyone to grab their skates and prepare to move. So this is Lilia Baranovskaya... She's scary—No wonder even Yuri couldn't talked back to her. She made history to revive the old time classics of the world.
