When Victor's former coach announced that a new thin girl was sitting next to him, Yuri had his plan well rehearsed and shortly introduced you to Yakov and Lilia as the new manager he wanted. Although, it wasn't easy convincing the two, you manage to pull it off and successfully got them into granting Yuri's wish. Since the girl wasn't informed of this, you felt awful for getting her fired right away, but Lilia was able to get her to go.

You were lucky that Ms. Patricia didn't say anything about you and Yuri, but you cannot help, but get blackmailed if she ever did asked for something. For now, that was out of your thoughts. No one would believe her if the figure skater himself doesn't have the audacity to help you stand in public. For once, you thank Yuri's pride of being a punk...

As much as you were aware that he had instructed you to keep quiet about this, you felt compelled to tell your dad. The woman Yakov hired would have been able to get you out of the manager spot if it weren't for his quick advise on being a good manager in sports. Speaking of sports, your training sessions were far more rigorous than they were the first two days. Most importantly, though, trying to engage Yuri in a conversation when his trainers are there is almost impossible. Victor, Yuuri, or even Mila would always be the one spiking up his entire break while he is on resting duty. While you, on the other hand, doubled up on your training between skating and ballet while still meeting the needs of your idol.

Because of this, you grew easily tired of your shifts and Zaitsey instantly got caught up with this when she found you slightly dozing off while staying in split. It even got Dmitri's attention before bending on your level and give a glance at your friend who shrugged, puzzled herself. The boy then got a little idea before grabbing on your extended leg at the front and slightly crack your tarsal part, making you yelped and fell back in shock.

"First position!"

"Calm down, girl. It's just Dmitri. The class has ended 12 minutes ago..."

"12... minutes?! Crap! My training! I can't keep him waiting!" You panicked, grabbing yourself up and your ice skates and bag, almost stumbling on the way. That surprised your partner and friend. "Him? Who's 'him'?"

"Oh uh... my dad! He's helping me out e-every time I visit the hospital! Jya, uvidimsya pozzhe!" You lied before sprinting off, leaving the two behind, still lost.

"Does she mean tomorrow, not later?"

As fast as the time passes, you only have 3 days to polish your skills before the day of competing against Primadelle. You wanted to win, but you've been thinking... just what are you going to do after this competition? What are your plans? Your next step after this? What will you do with the prize if it's all gonna go in your class fund to resume your sessions?

What IS that I'm after if we did win...

When Yuri landed and finished his routine, you expressed your regret for being so late. "I'm sorry for not being on time..." He let you off because clearly, he didn't want you to see him fall off his butt during every spin. You were so late that you didn't even get to see it. Although he does a lot of spinning and jumping in his dance, there are instances when he simply lacks mental clarity and spins in the opposite way.

He then proceed to stretching and practicing with you as you put on your ice blades. You felt more tired and heavy, but all be worth it once the competition finished. The operation... your dad wasn't even an inch close to feeling better or leaving the hospital... Your mom was looking for another job again since her previous boss replaced her with something more attention seeking for the image of the company... What more would you expect on next month's payment? You don't want Yuri paying for it once more after what happened. Besides, it's not like he done it because you're friends.
