The morning sun filtered through the blinds, casting a golden glow over the room. I sat up in bed, my heart racing as the events of the previous night came rushing back to me. I had barely slept at all, my mind racing with fear and uncertainty.

Grange was already up, his eyes bleary with exhaustion as he packed our bags in silence. I watched him for a moment, my thoughts a jumbled mess. This beautiful sunrise seemed to represent something in my life, a glimmer of hope in an otherwise dark and uncertain world.

We had to get out of here, and fast. The Unseen could return at any moment, and I knew we couldn't afford to stick around.

"Come on," Grange said, breaking the silence. "We have to get to Jack's office before the Unseen catch up to us."

I nodded, hurrying to finish packing my own bags. We couldn't afford to waste any time. Every second felt like a race against the clock, and I knew we had to be on our guard if we wanted to survive.
As soon as we stepped out of the hotel room, I knew something was wrong. A big, burly man with a sharp, menacing look in his eyes was standing in the hallway, staring directly at us. My heart sank as he shouted to his companions, telling them that he had found me.

I could feel the panic rising within me as I realized that this man was probably from the Unseen. They were here, and they were after me.

Grange and I turned and ran, sprinting down the hallway as the guards chased after us. I could hear their heavy footsteps pounding behind us, and I knew we had to outsmart them if we wanted to escape.

We turned corners, zigzagging through the hallway in an attempt to throw them off our trail. Grange got into a physical altercation with one of the guards, but I knew we couldn't afford to waste any time.

I grabbed a fire extinguisher from the wall and swung it at the nearest guard, knocking him to the ground. Grange and I worked together to pin him down, and we used the opportunity to make our escape.

We ran as fast as we could, our lungs burning and our hearts racing. I could hear the guards shouting behind us, but we were getting further and further away.

Finally, we burst out of the hotel and into the safety of the morning sun. Grange was limping, his arm wrapped around my shoulders as we stumbled down the street.

"We did it," I panted, relief flooding through me. "We outsmarted them."

Grange nodded, a fierce determination in his eyes. "We're not out of the woods yet," he said. "But we're one step closer to taking down the Unseen once and for all."

As we ran for our lives, my mind was racing with thoughts. How did they find us? How long have they been following us? And most importantly, how do we get out of this alive? My uncle was limping next to me, his injury slowing us down. I knew we had to find a way to escape, but with the Unseen hot on our tail, it seemed like an impossible task.

We turned down alleyways and darted through streets, trying to shake off our pursuers. But no matter how fast we ran, they were always right behind us. I could hear their heavy footsteps and harsh breathing, a constant reminder of the danger we were in.

Finally, we came across an abandoned building. It was our only chance. We burst through the door and barricaded it shut behind us. Panting and sweating, we leaned against the door, trying to catch our breath.

"We have to find a way out of here," I said, my voice shaking. "They'll be here any minute."

"I know," my uncle replied, wincing in pain. "But we can't go back out there. It's too risky."

I looked around the room, searching for any way to escape. And then I saw it – a small window near the ceiling. It was our only hope.

I boosted my uncle up to the window and he managed to squeeze through. I followed suit, gritting my teeth against the pain as I wriggled through the tight space.
