Y/n felt something really soft beneath her. She noticed a slight sinking of her body into the plush ground beneath her. Her body was being covered by something heavy. Weird. Why isn't her oxygen mask on? The cannula she had in her hand was nowhere to be found. Why is she unable to hear her heart monitor's beeping sound?
All of a sudden, she remembered what had transpired. The medical team was about to cut off the machines that were keeping her alive while she was in her hospital room. Hold on a second. Why does her body feel so light even when they were turned off? It seemed so wholesome, Why does she not experience any breathing difficulties?Y/n made an effort to move her body. 'Wait, what?' This is becoming very strange. Why does she not experience any physical pain? Y/n moved her toes after her fingers in her hand. She could feel them, wow. Yet how? She was so frail that she hardly felt her lower body. Because she didn't want to wake up, whether this was a dream or not, Y/n continued to keep her eyes closed. This felt wonderful. After becoming unwell, she had never felt her body feel so healthy and good. She closed her eyes in the hope that she could escape reality. Oh, how she wished it to happen.
Y/N felt a warm sensation in her face and on the side of her neck. Is it morning already? Someone opened her curtains? Y/n moved her head, which was sunk into a huge puffy pillow. Y/n opened her eyes slowly, trying to adjust to the sunlight. She held her hand up a little bit, trying to cover her face from the sunlight. She blinked a couple of times and opened her eyes fully. The white ceiling was the first thing y/n noticed, which was very lovely. Then the golden patterns on the ceiling caught her attention; they truly were beautiful. It was the first time y/n see something like this.
There was a massive ceiling light hanging in the middle of the ceiling. It looked like it was made of crystals or something. Because of the sun's light, the radiant crystals shone brightly. There were almost twenty candles in the candle holders of the ceiling light. The flames of the candle danced around with the little breeze that came from the opened window.
Did she really die? Is this heaven? Well, she really didn't do any bad things or good things in her life, so she can go to heaven, right? Well, the pillow under her head felt heavenly.
The sunlight that escaped from the window was still bothering her. Y/n raised her hand up again, trying to block the light. She examined her hand. First, the only thing y/n noticed was the absence of the cannula in her hand. Then her eyes went wide. What in the world? Her hand was smaller than before. And it looked healthy. The color of her skin was beautiful. Without a doubt, it wasn't her hand. Is she gone crazy after she died? Where did her hand go? The last time she remembered, her hand had pale, thin, and long fingers. Well, even though her hand looked small, it looked perfect. How can a hand look perfect? Y/n mentally scoffed. She must be dreaming, or maybe she is accidentally drunk. Y/n placed both of her hands behind her head, making herself comfortable. "I will wait till I get sober." She thought for herself and watched the golden patterns in the ceiling.
She took her hand behind her head and raised it in front of her face again, examining her hand. Rosy finger nails, small yet long lady-like fingers soft palm was definitely different from her's. Well, she really loved this skin tone. It was a unique color that was a little bit hard to explain. It appeared to be a warm ivory color mixed with honey and beige? Is that even a color? It was a light, bright color that was not white but a little yellowish, like Chinese. Japanese? Korean? Mongolian ? Hong Kong? Well, Hong Kong was also a part of China in the past or something. How did she even pass the geography test? Well, the skin looked healthy, fair, and glowing, that's all mattered. WTF. Why is she even thinking about skin color when she doesn't even know where she is?
Y/N quickly rose from her lying position in the bed. She almost teared up when she stood up on her own without any problem. She looked down at her toes while moving them around. Her eyes were wide as if she had never seen toes before. Her legs were beautiful. They were well-shaped and extremely ladylike. Y/n looked around the room and found a huge mirror that she could see from head to toe.
She was frozen when she stopped at the mirror. Her eyes widen as if she sees a ghost. She was right. It wasn't her body. Y/n grabbed her face with both of her hands. She was in someone else's body. How is this even possible? She looked again at her reflection in the mirror.Whoever this body belonged to, it looked perfect. She stared at her own face. This woman, whoever she was, had thick black hair that reached her knees. It was dark as midnight. Her scar-less, smooth skin showed how much luxury she had enjoyed in her past years of living.
She had a slim face with a sharp jawline, a cute button nose, and large double lid eyes that held a unique color. Iris' eyes appeared slightly purple. Y/n took another step towards the mirror, looking closer at her own eyes. There were dark blue outlines. They were fading and getting lighter blue mixed purple little by little as it getting near to her black apple of the eye. They had a thousand hues of blue and a small touch of dark violet radiating in softly swooping arcs. Y/n backed off a little from the mirror. Now her eyes looked more like indigo. Y/n was amazed by the long eyelashes of the woman, and when she looked closer to her eyes earlier, she saw there was a black natural eyeline to her. Is it possible for someone to be this beautiful? Nothing that has happened so far is not possible for a normal person. So why is she even amazed?Y/n stared at her own pink lips. She looked exactly like the perfect villain in a webtoon.
Wait a minute? Did she say villain?
Y/n looked at the baby pink nightgown she was wearing. She twirled around and jumped up and down, trying to make sure if she was dreaming or not. But when she jumped, something painfully hit her chest. Y/n stopped what she doing and pulled out the heavy thing hanging in her neck. Y/n felt her world stopping. She felt like fainting when she saw her grandma's whale necklace around her neck. It was heavy. Y/n took it with shaky hands and opened the whale locket, making something fall from it. Y/n quickly look down to see some cherry blossom petals and the plastic plaster wrapper with the Sleeping Beauty castle. Y/n bent down while collecting the things that fell from the necklace as tears ran from her eyes. She looked at the castle in the plaster. The man. The mysterious old man she met in the hospital. His words rang in her ears.

"What do you mean? You can always make good things happen. It might not happen today, but it could happen later this week."
"Don't worry; everything will be okay. You'll get back on your feet in no time and make a lot of money, too. And you'll meet a man who is head over heels for you. Today is my last day, and you are my last encounter. So just promise you'll live a happy life. That's all I ask."

Y/n looked at her thumb. Only now did she see the little scar on the thumb. Y/n slowly put all the things back in the locket of the necklace and tied the necklace around her neck. Y/n wiped away the tears that were streaming down her cheeks from the sleeve of her nightgown. Suddenly, a scream was followed by a loud sound from behind her, similar to a metal tray falling. Y/n flinched and turned around towards the sound.
