*Rose's POV*
A little bit later, we were all just doing our own things around our part of the farm, in our own space as to not bother Hershel and his family. Glenn seemed still nervous and not himself until he blurted out that there's walkers in the barn. I don't think anyone believed him until we went to check it out ourselves where we heard the all too familiar groans of a lot of walkers. I was standing near to where dad was as even though we've dealt with walkers before, this time is different as we thought we were safe here, but I guess nowhere is really safe in this world anymore.
Rick and Shane got into an argument about how to deal with the walkers in the barn as Shane wants to clear the barn but Rick doesn't want to since it's Hershel's farm and it's ultimately up to him what happens to the walkers in the barn. I'd personally feel safer if they weren't there. Shane also brought up how the search for Sophia is pointless as we haven't found her or anything showing that she's alive, besides her doll that dad found. Dad got pretty pissed when Shane said that as he's the one who risked his life to help find Sophia and nearly died trying but he understands how Carol feels with having her daughter out there alone.
A while later, I was sitting with Carol in the RV when dad came in with something that I recognized from stories he's told me. It was a Cherokee Rose which bloomed, then he told her the story about them, which I think helped her restore her faith that Sophia was still out there somewhere.
After a while, I noticed that Rick and Hershel weren't around and neither was Maggie. No one knew where they were until we all saw them leading 2 walkers towards the barn, using poles, I think. We were all given guns from Shane and went down to the barn where Shane shot one of the walkers then broke the chain on the barn door. The walkers all filed out and they were all shot by Shane, Andrea, T-Dog, dad and Glenn until it all goes quiet until we see another walker walk out but neither of us could move. It was Sophia. Carol tried to go to her but dad held her back to protect her. Neither of us even moved to do anything, until Rick went over and had to shoot her. I've never felt a feeling of sadness like that, watching someone we were searching for be bitten and just not too far from where we slept at night.
