Sitting in Emilia's garden away from her party, Kiara and Vijay observed Kabir grow increasingly agitated as he watched Jason Momoa playfully flirt his way into Nicole's good graces.

 Vijay peered at Kabir and cheekily smiled, "You've lost your head, haven't you?"

He frowned, "I haven't lost my head!"

"Wow, for someone who lies for a living, you sure are shit at it."

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"I heard your confession last night."

Kiara snapped her head to look at him, "You finally told her you love her?"

He snapped, "I don't know who you're talking about."

"Nicole!," they answered in unison.

Gaping at the two best friends, he wondered, "How the hell do you know that?"

Vijay snorted, "Anyone with a set of working eyes can tell."

Making eye contact with him, she smirked before teasing, "So you profess your undying love for her and–"

He jokingly gestured to Nicole, finishing her sentence, "Now she's rubbing up on some tatted hunk."

Going back and forth with him, Kiara sarcastically added, "All she's chatting to is a guy one hundred percent her type on paper... he's only six-foot-four!"

"He's got that hot Jesus vibe going but chicks dig that I guess."

She gave him an incredulous look but continued, "He surfs too but it's no big deal."

"It's not a biggie, mate."

"You're fine! Like you can ride the waves too– maybe not as well as him but..."

"You only literally look up to him. Literally."

All three continued watching as Nicole folded her arms and Jason did the same a few seconds later.

Kiara exclaimed, "Oh, they're mirroring body language! That's a very bad sign."

Kabir folded over in frustrated laughter, "Stop pissing me off."

Vijay added in mock-seriousness, "Well usually you mirror body language when you want to sleep with the other person."

She corrected, "No, it's when you're in love with that person," seeing him take a sip of his drink, she added; "If I drink now, it's because I love Jay. That's why my cup is clearly on the table."

They burst out into fits of giggles as Kabir raised a brow, "Yeah, you two have lost your minds."

He leaned back and ran his hand through his hair as Vijay exclaimed, "I can't believe it! That's nervous laughter!"

"What?"

She pouted, "Do you need a drink?"

"No, I'm so comfortable right now it's unreal."

Vijay placed a concerned hand over his knee, "Mate, I think you need some vitamins."

"Can we just do a pulse check?," she held two fingers against his neck and gasped; "Shit, that can't be healthy."
