Back in the day when Vijay and Leon were boys above.
oenomel
(n.) something combining strength with sweetness
The minute the words 'Leon Roy' flashed across her screen, Kiara threw her phone across the room. That was her reaction to the director, S.S. Rajamouli, texting the names of her new co-stars. While she was ecstatic that Ram Charan would be the male lead, seeing her ex-boyfriend's name on the same cast list soured her mood– never mind the irony of him being cast as the male antagonist. She had been building up the courage to tell Chris, knowing he wouldn't show it and instead would silently suffer in hopes that Leon wasn't trying to make a move on her.
One day became three and then six until Kiara eventually chickened out, choosing to enjoy spending time with Chris while ignoring every attempt Leon made to get in contact with her. Vijay had been excited for her new project and instantly booked the first flight ticket out to congratulate her. It had been their tradition to drop each other off on their first day for a new project no matter where either one was currently working. As such, the fact that she had just visited him or that India was a twenty hour flight away made no difference.
Nervously rubbing at her wrists as they drove into the studio parking lot, she chewed on her lip as he sighed and turned her to face him, "You'll be fine."
She pouted, "How do you know that?"
"Sweetheart, stop worrying."
"But how do you know I'll be fine?"
"I just do."
Together, Kiara and Vijay made their way into the conference room as the cast members all gathered for their first table read. Since this new project was a pan-Indian film and therefore combined Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil and Hindi actors, she was unsure of what to expect but nevertheless was looking forward to meeting everyone.
Together, Kiara and Vijay made their way into the conference room as the cast members all gathered for their first table read. Since this new project was a pan-Indian film and therefore combined Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi actors, she was unsure of what to expect but nevertheless was looking forward to meeting everyone. Squealing with excitement, she rushed over to meet her new co-stars. Embracing Ram, Deepika, Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (better known as Tarak or his stage name, NTR Jr.) and Karthi in warm hugs, she introduced herself to them. Given her status as the People's actress, they appreciated that Kiara hadn't made any assumptions but were all well aware of her repertoire.
The room fell silent as someone knocked on the door and everyone's heads turned towards the man. It took Kiara a minute to recover from the initial shock of seeing him again but it was unmistakably Leon. His standard uniform of expensive suits and slicked back hair practically exuded power. The man could smooth-talk the devil into doing his bidding. He looked around for a minute before settling his gaze on her and making a beeline towards her.
He smiled wolfishly as his eyes roved over her figure, taking her in, "Let's talk frankly now since you can't seem to find time otherwise."
Kiara peered up at Leon, cautious to engage with him, before standing up to shake his hand. At a height of six-foot-one, she still had to crane her neck to look up at him. They stood opposite each other, simply absorbing this moment.
