We got in the car and she sat at the passenger seat, this lady she just act the way she feels like, I thought she is doing her job also by sitting next me why did she divert I thought

Seems like you like doing whatever pleases you I said and she didn't respond

So rude, she couldn't even respond....I am definitely going to tell my father to change this nonsense body guard, she is of no use, how can a lady be my body guard when she can't even protect herself, just take a look at how skinny she is; for big sake tell me if a thief or assassin attacks us now what will she do?

She doesn't even have a gun, how do she defend herself talk more of me
I bet if those hands has ever hold a gun before. I thought; I kept thinking about her capability the moment a message popped through my phone

I checked on my message and I saw the pictures that was sent to me, it was picture of me going in the company and out of the company and to the parking lot, it was sent by unknown number

All these people are really jobless, how can someone waste his or her time taking pictures of the senator son....not that it is a special occasion I thought
I was still checking out the picture when I heard the car screwed and stopped

What happened I thought? A guy rushes and pull me out from the car holding me firmly on the neck until Aliya came to grabbed the guy given him punches actually they were exchanging punches, till she got the two guys while I was freed.

She was still hitting the guys that attacked us while I hastily picked my phone calling the police

Hello this is Ismail Jega the Senator son, we are being attacked in Aspra Street, please come quickly I said and the police assured me they will get there

Aliya had just succeeded in holding the guys and she brought out an handcuffs

Good handcuffs them, I said and she did...just immediately I heard a gun shot and another guy appeared pointing the gun towards our direction

I was so confused on which direction the gun is targeted and the next shot I heard was Aliya giving me a cover she was shot at the back , the police arrived swiftly and arrested the guys

Aliya! Aliya! I screamed as I felt the blood gushing out from her mouth... Let's take her to the hospital, I carried her bridal style to the car and the driver drove us to the hospital...she was admitted quickly and was operated, few hours later the doctor called me in

She was still asleep when I came in I sat down observing her, the scenerio of what just happened earlier keep replaying, I never knew she was this strong and why on earth would she take a bullet for me.

My gosh! This is really crazy....I just can't believe what just happened, she will definitely have to explain herself when she wakes up, because I don't understand dieing to save someone it doesn't make any sense at all I said to myself

I woke up and saw his Excellency sitting beside me, I closed my eyes then open it to be sure it was him....he was head bent so he didn't notice I was up, I look round the vicinity and discover I was in the hospital...can u imagine I totally forgot I was shot, I checked on the time and it was midnight

Why is his Excellency still here I thought
I tried to adjust my self then he raised his head up

Oh! Thank God you are awake Aliya, he said while he helped me seat properly.

Are you okay? He asked

Doomy, why would I be okay...I was shot, my subconscious mind said

Yes, I am I replied

Why did you do that? He said frowing

Why did I do what? I asked rhetorically

Why did you take the shot ? I asked

That was part of my job, to protect you; would I have watched to let the bullet get you

You would have pushed me or something or dodge the bullet....are you crazy? What if you die?

I can't die, because I haven't finish my mission I replied back

What kind of a girl are you? Aren't you pained

Oh really, is he the one talking.....I never knew he has this great empathy for people my subconscious mind stated

Well...I am fine now, I already get treated; I will call someone to get you back to the villa, I will meet you back tomorrow I said
As I stretch my hand to get my cell phone.

I didn't ask you, he said stopping me from reaching my phone

I would go back home anytime I want but then you are not getting discharged tomorrow except the doctor said

Sir honestly, I don't like staying in the hospital for more than a day, I would go back home beside I can move my legs and hands I said without mincing words

I said "No way" you are not going any where the doctor still have to observe you he stated

Is this a kind of joke, how can he tell me when to leave the hospital and when not to
Just watch if you would meet me here tomorrow.

I already ordered alot of food I don't know which you will prefer but when it arrives you pick the one you want and throw the rest he said while I nodded my head.

I arrived at the villa the next day , and I met the senator, he began to question me of who the criminal was and why they wanted to kill his son.

Aliya, tell me who could have done this to Ismail

"Stupid" ....how would I know that; they are different people coming for you due to your cruel act, my subconscious mind said

I discovered this morning that the driver eloped ,but I haven't look out his resume yet; he should be among those bad guys who attacked his excellency

Find him, we must find him...every nook and cran he screamed and I left his office

Gosh! All of them are crazy.....this is unbelievable I whispered.
