Aliya

Upon entering the common room, I observed his excellency engrossed in operating his laptop, seemingly working from home. After announcing my presence, he acknowledged me by raising his eyebrow. 'Aliya, why are you here?' he inquired. 'Shouldn't you be at the hospital?' he repeated. 'I'm fine, sir,' I responded. 'No, you must return to the hospital,' he asserted, displaying genuine concern. 'I prefer not to. I have already informed you that I cannot spend the night at the hospital,' I countered.

'Listen to me, as I am your superior,' he insisted.
'Superior, indeed. As far as I can recall, I am not in your employment or that of your father, the senator,' my inner voice interjected.
'I have reviewed your driver's record, and law enforcement is currently tracking his whereabouts. He is likely to be apprehended within the next few days, eliminating the need for your apprehension,' I divulged.
'Very well,' he sighed. 'Alright, sir. Is there anything you require?' I inquired.

Ohhk... He sighed

Alright sir, do you need anything? I asked.

He furrowed his eyebrow Back to his laptop and whisper, it's done.... He extracted some files beneath his system and handed them over to me; take it to the office...give it to Meena.

Ok sir, I collected it and he swiftly stopped me

Oh no! I forgot you are sick, give me back he said

It's my job sir, let me do it; you don't have to do it while I am here...beside you can't go anywhere yet until the culprit is being caught

Who told you I am being confined, over some silly shit scene that happened I fired backed

Ok fine sir, I will do this I say trying to save time

Why wouldn't I? What kind of question is that?

Yes, your secretary I replied and he nodded affrimately

Dummy, do you think I hurt my head; it's three good months why wouldn't I know his secretary; down to all the executives in the firm I know them by their name and surname why would, Mina be a tough one to memorize.

I left the  common room and headed straight to the garage I drove his Lexus jeep to the firm , I alighted and headed straight to the 6th floor; I saw mina at her usual spot and handed her over the file

How is his excellency? She said as she collected the file from him

Gosh! How did the news spread so fast like wild fire just in a day I thought

I hope he isn't hurt badly she said.... showing more concern

No he isn't, when are you accessing the file....I have some other jobs to do I said

Alright just a minute, she said and then access the file

I got it she said handling another set to me

I collected it and then left the building

While I was coming out of the building I saw the most least person I could ever imagine standing beside the Lexus jeep I parked
