Chapter 3: Back In The SMP

POV: Third Person

Tommy had left yesterday. Tubbo was in shambles, crying and not talking to anyone for the rest of the day. Phil wasn't on house arrest anymore and returned to the Antarctic to comfort an angry and sad Techno. But the voices wouldn't stop yelling at Technoblade. 

You should've done better. 

He's hurting.

Bad brother. 

E. 

He was betrayed again.

Pain.

Alone. 

In danger.

E.

FIND TOMMY.

They were all yelling at him, making his anger worse. 

The day after Tommy left, Tubbo brought himself together long enough to ask everyone to come to L'manburg. Everyone on the server was there, even Technoblade and Phil. Quackity kept giving them angry side glances. Tubbo started the meeting with;

"So we all know why we're here, finding Tommy. Let's split into groups. Dream,  George and Sapnap go North. Techno, Ghostbur and Phil go East. Jack, Niki and Puffy go south. Ranboo, Eret and I will go West. Everyone else stays here. Look out to see if Tommy comes back for supplies. Check his place of exile, his house in L'manburg, Central SMP, and Technoblade's house. Also, put a few non-deadly traps so we can catch him if he returns."

"I don't like the idea of traps being set outside Phil and my home Tubbo. It's an evasion of privacy," Technoblade states. "Phil and I could just as easily set them off ourselves. I can track what items Tommy would steal and see if anything is out of place, like when he stayed with me the first time and stole my golden apples and books."

Everyone was too afraid to disagree with Techno, and Dream, who wasn't really scared of him, just shrugged.

So everything was put into place. Non-deadly traps were put on both sides of the nether portal, which led to and from the island, in both his homes, and everyone who was still in the SMP was always looking for Tommy.

Months,

And Years Past

But there was never any sign of Tommy. He wasn't coming back. After three months, Tubbo called off the search parties to his displeasure, but it was clear that Tommy never wanted to be found. While looking for Tommy, Tubbo fell into a depression, only talking to Ranboo, Michael (His and Ranboo's Kid), Quackity, Fundy, Phil and Techno. He also resigned from being the President Of L'manburg, and L'manburg then went on without a president, becoming a part of the Central SMP and a kind of SMP district like Church Prime.

Phil and Techno took in Fundy, as he was still family and revived Wilbur but didn't kill Ghostbur as it wasn't needed to resurrect him, and they didn't want him to end up in Limbo. They also revived Mexican Dream and Jschlatt. Ghostbur went off on an adventure with friend to look for Tommy and hasn't been seen since. Jschlatt went to Quackity and apologised for how he acted when he was president. He also congratulated him on his engagement with Karl and Sapnap. As for Mexican Dream, he went and found Mamacita, and they lived on the island where Tommy was exiled and fixed it up. They called it Mexican Exile. All traps set out for Tommy were removed when they stopped searching so you could go between Mexican Exile and The Dream SMP. To say they were happy was an understatement. Quackity and Mexican Dream got along very well.

The Dream SMP began to heal itself but never forgot about Tommy. A statue of Tommy in his original L'manburg suit was made in the middle of L'manburg with his copy of Melohine in his hand, surrounded by invisible barrier blocks so it could never be taken. A plat on the bottom read...

The bench and jukebox, where he would look at the sunset with Tubbo before the wars, were still there. Tubbo and Wilbur would normally be the only people there as it reminded them of Tommy, who they had both loved dearly.
