17• Dishes

After the morning run, they all went to have breakfast.

Kunj stood in the front and announced
'Pls guys aaj thode kam bartan use kerna. Mujhe dishes wash kerne hai baad mai '

Vaibhav came forward and kept a hand on his shoulder in an intimidating way and said 'Kya bhai sahab. Ab Tu hume orders dega huh? ' he asked in a dangerous tone.

Kunj's eyes widened and he said 'Nhi... Nhii sir. Mai kyu aapko order karunga. Mai toh bas request ker rha tha ki sab kam bartan use kerna aaj ' he said while shaking a bit.

Vaibhav raised his eyebrows and asked 'Toh ab aap hume batayenge ki hume kitne bartan use kerne chahiye huh? Aaj kal bohot zubaan nhi chalne lag gyi aapki?' He asked and kunj immediately started shaking his head in fear of his senior.

Before vaibhav could say anything, someone cleared his throat to get their attention.
They all turned around to see aryan standing there with his arms folded over his chest and a stern look on his face.

Aryan - 'zubaan toh aapki bhi bohot chal rhi hai bhai sahab 'He said in a stern tone.
Kunj looked at him with wide eyes.

Kunj- 'inke andar se nikal rhi hai yeh awaaz?' He thought

Vaibhav looked down. Aryan came and stood right in front of him and asked
'Yehi sikhaya hai colonel ne? Ki agar koi punished ho toh uska majak udao huh? ' he asked

Vaibhav shook his head and said 'No sir, apologies sir'

Aryan- 'I think your trainer should be informed about this. Isn't cadet vaibhav?' He said and vaibhav looked at him with wide eyes and quickly starting pleading and apologizing.

Vaibhav- 'No sir, sorry sir. This won't be repeat. I assure you that sir. Pls don't inform colonel about this ' he literally begged.

Aryan looked at his face for sometimes and then burst out laughing. They all looked at him confused.

Aryan- 'Shakal dekh apni vaibhav. Aisa lag rha hai tune koi bhoot dekh liya ho ' he said while laughing.

Vaibhav sighed in relief and said 'kya yaar bhaiya , aapne toh dara hi diya tha. Colonel ke paas complaint jaane se toh acha hai ki mai koi bhoot hi dekh lu' he whined.

They all were looking at them with confusion.

Aryan noticed their confusion and said
'Aree daro mat bacho. Mai toh sirf majak ker rha tha. Chalo ab jaldi se sab breakfast kerlo. Kunj ne badi mehnat se banaya hai ' he said while giving kunj a strong pat on his back.
He jerked forward by the force and looked at him with a so done face.

Kunj- 'Kya yaar bhaiya, itni jorr se lagi mere ' he whined.

Aryan laughed and said 'Chal jaldi se khaa le. Fir dishes bhi kerne hai. Late ho jaayega verna training ke liye' he said and kunj nodded his head.
And started eating his food quickly. They looked at him with pity .

Siddharth - 'Aram se khaa kunj. Firse gale mai khaana atak jaayega beta ' he said while rubbing his back.

Kunj looked at him with his mouth full and said 'Bhai.. Time nhi.. Hai mere paas bilkul bhi' he said.

Siddharth- 'Chup chap muh band kerke khaa. Firse khaana atak jaayega kunj '
He scolded him.

Kunj nodded and started eating his food like a human being.
After he was done, he went to kitchen, which is in the backside of the mess and saw Aryan talking to his co workers.

Kunj didn't want to intrupt the conversation so he decided to start washing the dishes.

Aryan after talking with the coworkers looked at kunj and said 'Oh!! Tu kab aaya bhyi? '

Kunj looked up and said '5 minutes pehle aaya tha bhaiya. Aap baat ker rhe toh maine socha ki mai apne kaam pe lag jaata hu jab tak aap free nhi hote'

Aryan nodded his head and said 'Hmm chal jaldi jaldi kerle fir training ke liye bhi jaana hai '

Kunj nodded weakly and asked 'Kitna time baaki hai bhaiya? '

Aryan looked at his wrist watch and said '15 minutes bacha. You can do it ' he motivated.

Kunj just smiled weakly and continued washing the dishes.

Aryan felt bad for him but he couldn't do anything about it. Since karan's direct order can't be denied.

After 10 minutes , kunj was done with the dishes.
He took a deep breath and sat saath on the chair.

Kunj- 'Itna kaam toh maine apni puri life mai nhi kra, jitna bhai yaha kerwa rhe hai' he said sadly.

Aryan patted his back and said 'Koi nhi bacha, yeh abhi tujhe torture lag rha hai but baad mai yeh cheeze bohot kaam aane waali hai, trust me ' he said

Kunj looked at him and said 'Maine chef thodi ban na hai joh yeh sab mere kaam aayega bhaiya. Kaisi baate ker rhe ho aap? '

Aryan laughed and said 'Aaj se chaar saal baad jab tu officer banega na. Tab mai tujhse puchunga ki yeh sab help aaya na nhi. Tab Tu apna reply suniyo. '

Kunj nodded and said "chalo bhaiya, mai jaa rha hu, ab training ke liye. Verna agar late ho gya toh ptani bhai kya karenge mere saath ' he said while getting up.

Aryan smiled and kunj left for the ground.

He reached the ground and saw all the other cadets standing there and karan standing in front of them.

Kunj- 'arey baap-re kahi mai late toh nhi ho gya. Shit yaar, Maine watch bhi nhi pehni hui. Ab kaise pata chalega. Yaar mujhe Orr punishment nhi chahiye ab ' he thought and went and stood besides his brother.

Karan looked at him but didn't say anything.
Kunj sighed in relief and thought
'Chalo shukar hai. Late toh nhi hua. Agar late hua hota toh bhai abhi sabke saamne band baja dete '

His chains of thoughts broke by a stinging pain on his back. He looked back and saw karan standing there with his world famous cane in hands.

He looked around and saw everyone else in push up position. He gulped and immediately dropped on all four and started pushing..

Karan - 'Since you're not interested in doing normal pushups cadet. I think you should try knuckle pushups' he ordered and kunj immediately shifted his weight on his knuckles and started doing knuckle push ups.

Meanwhile siddharth saw this and shook his head lightly and thought 'Ptani iss ladke ko kya maje aate hai musibaton mai fasne mai. Halat ho nhi rhi Kuch orr sehen kerne but bhai se pange liye jaa raha hai baar baar '
