Preference #17: He's A Bit Insecure

Sherlock: Come on this is Sherlock he isn't insecure about shit but deep down you feel like some times he beats himself up for being a smartass to you but you know that's what he's like and you are content with it.

Watson: You came home and greeted John with a kiss. Its been perfect for the two of you but lately you feel a bit distant from him. He was a bit quiet and has been crying even harder when he wakes up from his nightmares he has sometimes. So you decided to ask him about it. The two of you were going to sleep cuddling together and as he held you looked up at him you said "John, I don't want to invade or anything but something's up with you. You've been distant and quiet and I just want to know what's on your mind sweetie?" He sighed and turned away slightly but you pulled his face back to yours and gave him a passionate kiss. When I pulled away he brought his forehead to mine and said "I'm sorry Y/N, its just that, I just feel a bit insecure, my dreams and panic attacks, I wake up and cry harder because its so embarrassing when you see me like this, and my messed up leg and I just feel like you don't want to stay with me because I'm such a burden..." You were crushed. You kissed him, interrupting him and said "John don't you dare think that way, I love you for who you are, and you aren't a burden. You have been through traumatic experiences so don't expect to get better right away, I won't leave you. He wiped the couple of tears on his cheeks as you kissed him slowly laying him back on the bed crawling back into your cuddle position.

Moriarty: Moriarty is constantly insecure of his madness. Its weird to say it but you knew it. He literally told you one day that he is very shy and hates showing his 'madness' around you. He thinks you'll figure out he's a monster and leave him.

Mycroft: He's insecure about his boring personality and how he isn't as loose as other people. Also when his younger brother, Sherlock is in his presence and the amount of arguing the two of them do, he's a bit embarrassed by it. But you understand, you too have a younger brother, (insert younger brother's name). You get it because you too, argue a lot. You always reassure him that even if he is a bit too serious or boring, you know how to loosen him up(if you know what I mean)....

I'm so happy that I've been updating more often and I really hope all of you are enjoying :)

I might be ending it off soon and I'm trying to come up with either a fanfic, another preferences and one-shots or a regular fiction story, Having a bit of trouble tbh
