Blossom: So, let me get this straight.
Blossom rubbed her temples while you stood there. It was morning now and you had filled her in on everything about the giant robot in the woods.
Blossom: We're looking for someone named Hogarth, because a robot told you he was a friend?
You nodded.
Y/N: That is what I said, yes.
Blossom dropped her arms and sighed.
Blossom: Guess it can't be helped. But what happens after we help him?
Y/N: Then we take him back to Townsville to keep an eye on him.
Blossom was a bit uneasy on the idea, but it wasn't like you had a lot of options. You weren't a monster, you weren't going to attack the Giant if he was friendly. What would be the point in that?
At the current moment, you were both walking through town to try and find information on this Hogarth guy. Hopefully he was around and didn't leave on vacation or something. That would make things a bit more difficult.
Still, walking around town like this felt a bit nice. The people seemed happy and the environment felt peaceful. It was a stark contrast to Townsville or even Cityville. It wasn't nearly as crowded and you felt like you could actually breathe. It reminded you of Nowhere.
Blossom: Hey, you came from a small town, right?
You nodded.
Blossom: What was it like growing up there?
You gave it some thought. Honestly, you never told any of the girls about how much of an outcast you were when you were a kid. You didn't know how they would react to it. Would they think you were weird?
Blossom noticed your hesitation and immediately began to wonder what was wrong. She had noticed that you were always a bit awkward when it came to your life before Townsville, but she never really understood why. But, the more she thought about it, the more she came to realize a few things.
There were no photos of you when you were younger in your house. Your accent sounded a bit more on the Scottish side than the country side. You've never mentioned how you discovered your powers.
Y/N: It was....quiet.
Blossom decided to just accept the answer. She didn't want to push it when it was clear that you felt uncomfortable. She instead chose to look around the town a bit.
Y/N: My grandma would've love this place.
Blossom looked back to you.
Blossom: You've mentioned her before. What was she like?
You smiled a bit.
Y/N: She was sweet, and loving. She loved her vinegar, but maybe that's why I appreciate food more now.
Blossom: You do eat like monster.
Y/N: That would be because of my grandpa.
You placed your fists on your hips and made a stern face.
Y/N: "Every boy needs to eat to grow big. How do you think I got this muscle?"
Blossom laughed at your impersonation. Your glasses even kinda looked like his. Of course, Blossom wouldn't know that. She wouldn't know how much you were starting to look like your father either.
Blossom: Your grandparents sound lovely.
You slipped your hands back into your pockets and looked up into the sky.
