WILLOWSylvia had come in late that night. Willow could hear a very deep voice helping Sylvia inside and putting her to bed before leaving the room. She hadn't met him yet. But after what happened with Marcus she wasn't sure she really wanted to. She felt like such an idiot.
Willow had been trying to prove to Sylvia how strong she was. That she really wanted to go to the ranch, and was willing to tough out anything that was thrown at her. So while Sylvia prepared for bed and flirted with the deep voice guy, Willow pretended to be asleep.
If Sylvia had seen her, there was no way she wouldn't be able to tell that Willow had spent the whole day crying.
It only took 15 minutes for a man, she didn't even know, to destroy her and all the walls she thought she had built. What made her think she could start a new life like this? What made her think she was ready for that?
Sometime in the night, Willow drifted off to sleep, only to dream of him.
Marcus
Marcus was so damn mad he couldn't think straight. He wasn't a homewrecker! That wasn't the kind of man Eric and Dorian had made him into. He was honorable, and stood by his morals.
Damn that woman! Damn that woman and damn that kiss! Why did she kiss him? Why did he kiss her? Why did it go so far? And why the hell did it feel so right... Damnit!
That was another man's future wife. That ring was real! It wasn't some crackerbox ring. Or a mood ring, or even a ring pop!
Marcus layed in the bed of the truck till he heard Sylvia and Dorian pull up in the jeep. Then very quietly Marcus whispered into the night air where only Dorian's superior hearing could hear him "Hey. Come back out after you drop her off."
Dorian was back in just a few minutes. He popped the tailgate and sat down with a smile that faded the second he looked at Marcus.
"Man why you always gotta ruin my good vibes?" Dorian asked as he pulled the cooler to him and pulled out a couple beers. Marcus reached for one but Dorian shook his head.
"Nope! From the look on your face. These two are mine. You can get your own." Dorian pushed the cooler over to Marcus. "So what's up? "Marcus pulled out a beer and took a swig. "Willow is like Eric... She's a spirit walker."
"Oh hell! That ain't bad news!" Dorian said with a smile returning to his face. "That's a good thing man. She is gonna require a little training of course, but that's alright! Soon we will be helping her helping spirits cross over to the other side. That's what we are meant to do!" Dorian continued to stare at him "That ain't all of it is it?" Still smiling even though it was now fake.
"There is already a spirit attached to her." Marcus figured he would go through one problem at a time.
"Okay okay! Well... Is it aggressive?" Dorian asked
"I don't think so. It certainly didn't show any hostility when her and I were wrestling around because she thought I was the robber who had come back to kill her and Syl. By the way, his name is Andrew."
"The robber?" Dorian asked
"Nope, the spirit. She tried to summon it into her to help her to get unhogtied by me. He wouldn't do it. Or if he did nothing happened which means he is too weak to be concerned about."
"Wait... Wait... So let me get this straight... You wrestled around, pinned down, and hog tied Willow Bright.... The new owner of the Lunar Ranch."
" Yup" Marcus stated.
