The glacial wind hit my bare arms whilst I walked through the almost deserted streets of Seoul. Around here there are a few restaurants and cafés, out of which only a couple were open and seemed like they were soon about to be closed. Indeed I was hungry, but I chose to eat only once I reached home, or else it would get way too late, and that'd only result in my mom welcoming me with fresh scoldings. And I definitely didn't want that.
My thoughts were disrupted when the sound of someone's not-so-distant laughter echoed in my ears.
And it was not just someone's laughter.
It was his.
Taehyung's.
I was so engrossed in hearing his laughter that I only realized the others' laughter when they passed me by.
I didn't mind anyone else's presence until I noticed Taehyung's arm around a girl's shoulder.
I stopped walking on the spot to observe closely.
And whilst the girl laughed herself, he looked at her so lovingly even mid his giggles; as if mesmerized by her.
But that didn't hurt as much until I realized...
He was mesmerized by her whilst I was mesmerized by him.
