"Y/n... Y/n!" Su-ji shook your shoulder aggressively to drag you out of your reverie which she finally did after multiple tries. Startled, you looked up at her. You were lost again. The teacher was screaming at you to tell you the answer but you were lost. Su-ji's face told you that something was wrong, eventually making you look at the teacher who was fuming with anger.
"Y/n, I've been yelling at you to tell the answer for so long, but you're just lost! You are such a good child... is everything all right in the family? With friends?" her voice suddenly softened as she approached you, bombarding you with questions out of concern.
You simply nodded in response.
"Are you sure?" she decided to confirm.
"Yes, ma'am," you smile appeared on your face. Although, no one knew that it was fake.
You still weren't over that night. Getting scolded by the teacher because of being mentally absent in class was a habit. You recalled that night once, twice, thrice... so many times. You never thought that you would ever care about someone or something so much. Why don't you just move on?!
In spite of being well aware that he doesn't love you... you still don't move on. However, little did you know that even if you tried, you'd be afraid to do so.
