Doctor's orders part 2.

(Kai POV) I sit in a chair beside Zaya bed looking down at my now bandaged arm waiting for James to come in and tell us the test results. "Honey you need to be more careful, you need to control your anger. We have Zaya now you can't go around punching things. Getting hurt" Dean says laying in the bed with Zaya holding her close. After that small moment of her waking up screaming and crying he refuses to let her go. I sigh looking up at him I give him a small smile. "I know I am sorry. I will keep it in check now I promise" I take one of his hands in mine. 

James walks in not to long after and I quickly stand up "So anything bad?" I ask worried. "Well" He starts looking at both of us "She is extremely lucky, though I know she probably doesn't feel that way. No broken ribs, and no internal bleeding. I do see where in the past she has had broken bones and past fractures. And she does have a concussion but luckily no brain bleeds or skull fractures. Now she does have some more non life threatening injuries, a fractured wrist, multiple bruises and a few lacerations that need to be stitched up on her back and the back of her legs. I pulled out a few pieces of glass from her cuts. I don't want anything to get infected so I'm going to give her a shot of antibiotics. She'll need to have her wrist in a brace for a few weeks. And a lot of rest, I'm sure not only is she physically hurt but mentally as well. I will give you more of the tranquillizers to used over the next few weeks as needed in case the pain gets to overwhelming for her. Once you ween her off or if she seems stable enough I have pain medication for her as well.  I nod "Thank you James for everything" he gives me a small sad smile before walking over to Dean and Zaya. Zaya looks so small curled up in Dean's arms her little bear tucked in her arms. My heart breaks as James opens the back of Zaya's gown showing the giant gashes on back and legs. "Now I need to get these stitched up. She won't feel any pain. It is important to keep the stitches dry for the first few days. These will need to be removed in about a week." Dean nods laying Zaya on the bed where James can begin stitching the gashes. I walk over to Dean rubbing his shoulders gently seeing the worried look on his face.
