rules and punishments.

(Dean POV) I watch Zaya as Kai tells her the rules. Her little face looks so confused. She struggles to look at us biting her nails. I really want to get her out of that bad habit. I know it's going to take time before she accepts this lifestyle but I do hope she will begin to enjoy it soon.

"Now we can add rules at any time kitten. I know it's a lot to take it so I'll let you process it. But I need to let you know if you are to be a bad girl there will be punishment" Kai says. I see the color drain from her face, her eyes filled with fear. "P p punishment" she stutters tearing up.  I elbow Kai "now why would you tell her that now" I whisper to him before getting up sitting next to Zaya. "Hey. It's ok little one we would never hurt you" I say taking her gently in my arms petting her head. She whimpers into my shirt.

Kai walks over kneeling down beside us. "I'm sorry kitten. I didn't mean to scare you. Punishment is only when you are really bad. Corner time, time outs, and if you're really really bad spankings but that will only be last resort. We will never hit or hurt you I promise." He says she sniffles looking at him. "How about we watch a movie while Franklin gets cleaned and after that it will be nap time. Does that sound good baby?" Kai asks smiling at Zaya. She nods slowly as I pet her head hearing her purr I smile.

(Kai POV) I wasn't thinking when I told her about punishments. I just wanted to explain as much as I could. But as soon as I saw her face I instantly regretted it. Dean went over to comfort Zaya annoyed with me. I sigh "way to go Kai" I think to myself before getting up off the couch. I walk over to Dean and Zaya kneeling down in front of her. She whimpers clinging to Dean's shirt. "I'm sorry kitten. I didn't mean to scare you. Punishment is only when you are really bad. I wipe the tear that's running down her face. "How about we watch a movie while Franklin gets cleaned and after that it will be nap time. Does that sound good baby?" She nods and I smile. I pat her head gently before getting up. "Alright baby" I get the remote turning the TV on.

"Alright kitten, which movie do you want to watch." I ask putting on Disney+ I begin to scroll down the list of movies looking over at Zaya. She looks at the Tv screen focused. She points at a movie as she bites on the thumb nail of her other hand. "this one here" I ask and she nods. "Good choice Lilo and stitch it is" She smiles her tail swaying slightly behind her on the couch. I turn the movie on sitting down beside her making Zaya in between me and Dean. I smile down at her before looking at Dean. It's finally happened we have our little girl here with us. It's all real now Zaya is all ours.
