A/n POV :

After one hour of admiring the lake and chatting. They got up and walked towards the palace's entrance "Such a beautiful place, shall we go check out the palace now?" Y/n asked.

"Let's go." Taehyung replied. She was thrilled about the interior of the huge palace.

They got inside the palace through a broken window as the main gate was too huge for them to open. As they entered the palace Y/n's head started aching and again the blurred memories came in front of her eyes.

"What has happened to me? All these blurred visions, what are these?" she thought.

She again ignored it and they both proceeded towards the princess's room. They entered the room and it was gorgeous despite being so old. As they walked around they saw a portrait of the princess. It seemed familiar to them so they walked closer to examine.

It was a huge painting of Princess Y/n but it was covered with too much dust. Y/n didn't care about it but when Taehyung saw it closer he froze. Every single memory started floating in his mind, and he regained his memories.

Everything seemed crystal clear to him. He thanked god and hoped that somehow Y/n could regain hers too.

"I researched about the history of this place too and came to know that this is Princess Y/n's bedroom, I read about her and learned that she loved to read books." Taehyung provided the information about her past with hope.

"Why does she have the same name as me? And I also love reading books, is this a coincidence or is it something else." she said tilting her head, listening to this Taehyung got his hopes up but got disappointed when Y/n thought of it as a coincidence. He thought to take her to the backyard next.

"This yard is where the princess used to come in the evening to watch the view, she was fond of nature." Taehyung attempted again.

"It's amazing but I don't know why it feels like I've been here, must be my imagination." Y/n muttered. They sat on the bench for a while and then proceeded to the ballroom.

"This is where the princess's 23rd birthday was celebrated and she was announced as the future queen of South Korea." Taehyung enlightened.

"Wow, it is so huge and just amazing." she said with amusement. They went to the archery range next.

"This is where the princess learned archery." he disseminated.

"Let me also try shooting." she said and picked up a bow and an arrow but she wasn't able to handle it right so Taehyung took her hand and placed it correctly.

"I just got deja vu from what just happened, what is wrong with me today? I've been acting crazy" she shook her head in disbelief.

"Try considering my words from the lake." he reminded.

"The past life thing? It is just too clichè for me you know." she said shrugging.

Y/n's head was continuously aching after leaving the archery range. Taehyung took her back to his house.

"When we previously came here, I forgot to tell you that this is where the princess died," Taehyung said.

"How did she die?" Y/n asked sympathetically.

"She was in love with her archery teacher who lived here but her father came to know and fixed her marriage with a cruel prince, she furiously came here, she told her lover everything and he said that we'll run away if we don't have any other option left but they didn't know that the king had sent soldiers to kill him, as they were bidding goodbye a soldier was about to shoot a poison arrow on the archer but the princess came in front of him and died." he narrated their story in short.

As Taehyung was narrating those blurred memories of Y/n were becoming clear, but the faces were still not clearly visible "Y/n, I've got something to show you." he said and took out the ring. As soon as Y/n saw the ring those visions became fully clear. Tears started dropping from Y/n's eyes so Taehyung hugged her.

"Don't cry please, it hurts me to see you cry." he said as he stroked her hair.

"Tae, I remember everything, I am sorry for calling it all a clichè." she apologised.

"You have nothing to apologise for my love." Taehyung said.

"I have to tell you something but please don't be sad about it." she said so Taehyung released her and cupped her cheeks.

"I saw you die in front of me, I was struggling and yelling in despair, you fulfilled your promise Tae." she said and tears again started dripping from her eyes.

He wiped her tears and placed his lips on her's softly. She kissed him back with passion and this kiss was the symbol of their reunion. Taehyung mumbled "We will be together till death do us part" which made Y/n smile in between their kiss.
