"Hey guys, have you seen Nam? He isn't answering his phone. " I look around at my Bangtan Brothers.
"No." Tae says "He's not here."
"I think the last I heard he was headed to his studio. Had to get somethings off his chest" Yoongs replies
I shake my head "Okay" I flop on the couch
"I think the Y/N situation is getting to him." Jimin says quietly
"Yeah he seems to be more in his head lately." Jin puts down a plate with baked goodies.
"Has he talked to anyone?" I ask, concerned for Joon.
"A little I think he just wants to bond with her now and not wait." Jin grabs a cookie and the rest of the guys go to grab one.
"Yahhh, One at a time Tae!!" Jin yells out
"WhpffTT? Tae says with one cookie in his mouth and one in his hand "Kookie has two."
"Aaahhhssshh dont tell on me!!" JK yells.
"I'm going to head over there and check on him." I get up to leave
"Wait!" Jin yells out and gets up heads in the kitchen and brings out a bag of cookies. "I put these aside for him.
I take the cookies and head out the door.
Sure enough I find Joon in his Studio. He is sitting on his couch with his glasses on reading. He doesn't even notice I have entered.

"Hey Joon."
He jumps "Hyung!! Don't scare me like that." He is holding his heart.
"Sorry about that."
"It's okay, what's up? Everything okay?" he finally put down what he was looking at and I noticed it was his contract with BigHit.
"I don't know, you tell me?"
He looked at me confused, "huh??"
"Namjoon, are you okay? I have been calling and texting and you haven't responded"
He starts to look for his phone and finds it all the way on the other side of the studio.
"Yeah sorry about that I have been just reading." He takes off his glasses and rubs his eyes.
"I can see that. Interesting reading material "
"Oh yeah I'm just reviewing my contract to see what the SoulMate Clause says." He sighs
"And?" I encourage him to keep going.
"And it basically says that when the bond takes place there is a protocol for 2 months of leave and media black out for the entire group."
"Right, all of the contracts say that, by law don't they have too?" I ask, trying to see where he is going with all of this.
"Yes I know the laws but I have a SoulMark. I can prevent bonding."
"Ok I thought you guys decided to wait until she finished school. Is that not the plan anymore?"
"Yes and No. I want to be able to touch her. It's getting too hard Hyung every time I am around her, I want to invade her space, kiss her, hold her hand without gloves. I don't know if it's the bond or not and I guess it doesn't matter but it is strong and I am afraid that I am going to just lose control and touch her." He runs his hands down the front of his face. I can tell he is stressed.
"Well if it is the bond then wouldnt it go away when she isn't around?" I ask. His face drops for a moment before he answers.
"The bond pull is the strongest when she is around but it never really leaves."
"And what does she say?"
"She wants to think it over. This would be a big change for her. She hasn't even finished school."
"Schools have protocols for this as well." I keep going
"It's more than that. Once we are bonded how is it going to affect the group? I'm the leader and I am supposed to be the example. What example am I setting? I don't even know anymore."
I watch as my friend my brother is breaking down and I know he is feeling the pressure.
"The example you are setting is that Love is just as important as a career."
He Stops and looks at me "love??" he asks.
Namjoon POV
"Yes Love." Hobi smiles
"Do I love her?" I ask more to myself than Hobi.
"DO you?" He asks "think about all the time you have spent with her and everything you are going through."
I think about My Y/Nie and her beautiful smile comes to mind. All the times we connected. Her little humming she does when she eats.

I look up at my Hyung and he is on his phone.
"Maybe this will help." he turns around the phone and shows me a picture

I look at the picture and it's me smiling. I was smiling??
"Ohhhh Joon you got it bad." Hobi laughs, breaking me from thoughts.
"Yeah I guess I do." I admit I need to find a way to be able to bond with her while letting her keep her independence and do what's right for the group.
"Look Joon, what would you tell me if I was in your shoes?" Hobi asks
"Oh come on." He can't be serious
"It's simple, you are paving the way for the rest of us to find love and how things are handled if we are lucky our soulmates."
I think about it...."We will figure this out, don't let this hold you back."
"Well we WILL figure this out, don't let this hold you back." Hobi smiles "So with us out of the way what would you do now?" he asks
"Well I guess I have to talk with her." I smile
Hobi gets up and walks to the door "You deserve to be happy, Oh and Jin sent you some baked goods ." His hands me a bag of goodies and smiles and walked out the door leaving me with my thoughts.
Hobi made a good point if it was any of my Bangtan Brothers I wouldn't even bat an eye at them bonding. I will talk with her and tell her what I want even if she chooses to go with the original plan at least she will know how I feel.
