Fern: Fern is a fox and is one of the main characters. He is the leader of the group with his little Ermine friend.

Ermine: the ermine is Ferns closest friend that stays by his side. The ermine is also one of the main characters.

Esther: Esther is a snow white German shepherd that was originally owned by awful owners. Thanks to the help of the fox and ermine he is free.

The lynx: the lynx hangs with the others from time to time hunting for long a long period of time. She enjoys hunting and watching the others.

The Norwegian forest cat: it enjoys its time in the snow often hanging out with the lynx.

The caribou: seems to follow the group around helping when necessary and enjoys watching eating its grass and dew.
