"Did our food get here yet?" as she collapsed into the booth, Vivian looked in towards the kitchen "No, I'll go check on our food. Excuse me." He stood up and trampled to find the waiter, Devi tilted her head away from the window "So what's your boyfriend's name?" She mumbled. I could feel my face getting hot, "well umm, his name is jo-" "Here's your food!" Vivian slaps my food in front of me, he turns his head to Devi "Here's your food."
He places a kiss on her cheek, she grinned at him "thanks" he rests a smile on his face. Just seeing them together, they really do bring out the best in each other.
The Scent that ran off the food made me feel like I'm back at home, I felt a breeze of relief through me. A tear formed in my eye, my throat was tied in a knot, SHIT! I don't want them to see me like this!. I used my sleeves to wipe my tears away, thank god they were talking to each other.
"Are you okay?" I lifted my head and turned to vivian,"Yeah i'm okay" vivian turned to me and softened his look. "Alright I was making sure, you kinda seemed surprised by the food." "oh right, it's just that it smells like my mothers cooking and it felt like I was back home again.'' I took a couple of sips, then vivian leaned against this chair "So i've been thinking about this for a while, Why don't we hang out more? We would love it if you could hang out with us more often! I think that way we could help you make friends out here." Devi grinned at me.
I cleared my throat "Yeah, I don't mind at all. I'd love to get to know people from here better", As hours went by we talked about how great the food is then we decided it was time to depart. As we exited the restaurant I took out my phone to type in the address in my phone, i do really want to take my parents here. We said our goodbyes then walked our separate ways, I just can't believe that I just had my first hangout with actual friends! I was so excited that I didn't realize that I had forgotten to respond to Nny.
I opened his messages consisting of him asking me where I'm currently at. I took a moment to think about telling him that I'm sorry for not responding right away.
Johnny: It was good seeing you today, what were you doing there?
Johnny:Hello? Y/n?
Johnny:Try not to take so long to respond, Let me know when you're done hanging out with them.

Nny...I'd never thought that i would get a boyfriend like him, at first he seemed like the type to be not interested in anyone just himself.
From that day forward, I couldn't get him out of my mind...His voice, his smile and just the way he is...I can't get enough of him. Asking my own boyfriend on a date shouldn't be bad? Right?
I reached the end of the street, I didn't realize that I walked so far from what I recognized. I think I'm lost, so I pulled up my location on my phone and found a route that isn't too far from my apartment.
What should I even say to him? Where would we go? As i turned the corner i stopped, i can't make out who is standing on the other side of the street.
I should just turn around
They start chuckling, I back away slowly...

As I backed away from the corner under a light pole, he started panting "Y/n don't be afraid, you shouldn't be so afraid of me. You know someone I know, someone I look up to...someone who betrayed my trust...I couldn't understand why he stopped. Then I followed him to realize that you are the one that is getting in the way of his business."
I quivered "I seriously think you have the wrong person, i don't even know who you are talking about."
Shit! Only if Nny was here, what do I even do in these scenarios?
They shuffled from the end of the street to inch closer to me at a movement I made, "Don't act like you don't know who he is, you are closer to him than I've ever been! He did not show you what he's capable of? Are you delusional?"
I strapped my bag tighter, Backed away further from them and tightened my shoelaces.
"It would be better to know who you are and who you are talking about, you think I would make out who you're upset about?" my body's trembling, I stopped in my tracks as whomever walked under the light.
My breathing became heavier, I could hear my heart pounding from my chest... He's here in front of me, The guy from the book store. I looked back to see if anyone was nearby, nobody was there.
It's just him and I, alone...
Nny where are you...
"You scared y/n? Don't be... I'm sure you will love me the way you love him. We aren't that different, it would be like you are with him. Even at this moment, don't you just wanna give me a hug?" his arms opened so slightly, his disgusting figure, his voice and everything he said wasn't true.
He's not Nny, he could never be Nny. The Nny I love isn't brutal, he isn't crazy.
"No! No you're not! You're nothing compared to him!" I shouted, immediately I covered my mouth. I'm giving in! I don't wanna give in to him, I don't know anything about this guy. He knows I'm afraid to even yell out for help, what would he even do to me if I do.
As he took a step closer I turned around and ran from him, as I'm sprinting I'm looking for opportunities to get away from this creep. My legs became heavier but I couldn't let him catched up to me. My lungs are on fire, but that doesn't matter now. I glanced behind me, I think I've lost him.
I collapsed to my legs then using tissues to wipe my sweat away, i opened my bag to scavenge for my phone. As my hand made contact with my phone I heard someone nearby, I snatched it and threw the backpack back on.
I found a couple of bushes to hide behind, I crawled into the bushes and adjusted my brightness. I called Nny, I peeked through the spaces between the branches to see who it was.
"Hello? y/n" I placed the phone on my ear and whispered into the phone, "Nny! I need your help, I ran into somebody and they ended up chasing me to a park. I'm not sure where the park is located but I really need you right now, please come find me!".
"Don't worry y/n! I think I know which park you're at, can you tell me h ow many fountains there are?" I slowly stood on my knees to look around my surroundings, one, two and three! There's three of them!
"I've only counted three large fountains!" I whispered, " I know what park you are at! I'll be there in no time!." He ended the call. I placed my phone in my back pocket, and I heard some ruffles nearby. I peaked my head through the bushes and it was him! He's breathing hard, he seems pissed.
