I stared in disbelief the human, she was a young girl with short brown hair, she wore a purple and white short sleeve jersey with black tights and blue denim shorts. In her ears there were black stud earrings and her eyes were a light hazel.
"Woah, what are you guys?" she said.
The boiling isles creatures continued to speak among themselves in mumbles.
"Um. hello?"
"Hey, over here!" I yelled, ushering the young girl over. She looked over to me with visible confusion, but upon realising I was also a human, ran over.
"Oh my gosh, what is this place?" she said excitedly,
"It's The Boiling Isles kid." Eda said, taking the words from my mouth.
"Yeah, The Boiling Isles" I muttered,
"Woah what are you? You're ears are pointy and you have a golden tooth" the girl said, speaking to Eda.
"That, does not matter. What matters is who you are and how you got here." Eda responded.
"I'm Luz. How I got here I'm not to sure, I went to sleep and spoke to the ghost looking dude who told me that I was, 'the chosen one' and held 'great power' he also said to be careful. Then I woke up here" Luz replied.
"Alright, well kid. You should come with us, we have another human, so she can show you the ropes," Eda said. "Even though you only got here like, two days ago." she mumbled in my ear.
I frowned at Eda before turning to Luz,
"Or, Eda could send you home" I smiled.
"This place is so cool though, and I'm supposed to be on summer camp, for boring kids. So if I stay here my mum won't worry. I'm sure I'll have much more fun here, with pointy ear lady and her weird dog"
"Hey!" King remarked,
"Sorry, weird talking dog" Luz replied.
"Okay kid, since you're staying here I'm Eda, The Human Collector." Eda said,
Luz's face turned into a look of horror, "The Human Collector?!" she squealed.
"No, I may as well be though, the humans just keep rolling in." Eda responded.
I rolled my eyes and introduced myself, "hey Luz, I'm Y/n and the weird talking dog is King."
King snarled, looking more cute than menacing,
"Awwww, he's the cutest little thing," Luz said, grabbing King and pulling him into a bone crushing hug.
"I'M NOT CUTE!!!" King squeaked.
Eda, Luz and I fell into a pit of giggles.
"Stupid heads," King muttered.
"Okay, well Owlbert!" Eda called as her staff came to her hand, "hop on guys." she smiled.
Luz's face lit up "you're a witch!!??" she squealed.
"Guess you could call me that" Eda said, helping me onto the staff.
We flew on the overly crowded staff back to The Owl House, making a reasonably bumpy landing onto the grass. Eda lead Luz inside and her jaw hit the floor.
"Welcome, to The Owl House"
