Do you know the feeling of longing for someone?
The ache in your chest when you can see them—but can't touch them.
Can't talk to them.
Can't be near them.

All you can do is watch from afar, longing to be with them every second of your life and wish, desperately, that things were different.

Well, That's what Jungkook is feeling right now.

When Jimin dragged Taehyung up to the rooftop, Jungkook had followed—silently, from a distance.
Taehyung sat alone, staring down at his feet, unaware that a pair of tearful lonely eyes were watching him from behind the door.

If Jungkook could rewind time, he would go back and stop everything.
He would hold Taehyung in his embrace and never let go.

But time doesn't go backwards.
And all he could do now... was watch him with teary eyes.

He didn't know that his life would turn this drastically.

His heart clenched as he gazed at the boy he loved—pale, fragile, thinner than before.
A shell of the sunshine he used to be.

Then—
"Poor Taehyung... tsk, tsk. His boyfriend cheated on him."
Jungkook heard a mocking voice behind him.

Jungkook turned.

His blood boiled when he saw the devil behind his misery stood smirking—Jackson.

Before he could even process his rage, Jungkook's fist connected with Jackson's jaw, sending him crashing to the floor.

Jungkook lost all his control today. Something inside him snapped. He has been devastated since a week.

A week of guilt, grief, and longing—all unleashed.

He couldn't go back to his love and now when saw Jackson all he could do was beat the shit out of him.

Meanwhile, Taehyung, was sitting on the rooftop, staring at the wallpaper on his phone—

A photo of the two of them at Heart Island.
Smiling. In love.

The sudden noise from outside startled him.
It sounded like... fighting?

He quickly opened the door and gasped when he saw Jungkook fighting with Jackson.

"J-Jungkook..." His voice trembled.

Jungkook froze.

The second he heard that beautiful voice of his love, the chaos inside him stilled.
His fist hung in the air. Eyes wide. Chest heaving.

There he was.

His Taehyung.

Jungkook saw the innocent pleading eyes he longed for a week. Looking at him. He couldn't form a word just stare at him.

But Jackson saw the opportunity and rushed behind Taehyung.

"Taehyung, save me!" he cried, grabbing onto him dramatically.
"I just said it was wrong to break your heart—and he hit me! He's crazy!"

Jungkook didn't say a word just stare at his love in front of him. He knew he couldn't say anything against Jackson so he just let him talk and took this chance to stare at those innocent eyes.

Taehyung's eyes locked onto his, and for a brief second... everything around them disappeared.

Jungkook took in every detail.
How pale Taehyung looked.
How his rosy cheeks were now dull.
