Life is hard, Life is difficult. Those are words that I never took seriously when my teachers used to say that back when I was in school. Now.... I'm a 27-year-old woman who has a good paying job. My job it's OK most of the time, I love it and I enjoy working at the company. But enough of my job. I know that my job is not hard and difficult..... It's my love life. Every one that I knew either got married or are getting married. I'm the only one that doesn't have a lover. I spend my birthdays all alone that it is depressing to even celebrate it. Why me? I always ask myself. I mean come on.... Everyone knows that I work hard to earn a living. I live an honesty life and don't cheat anyone. So why is my love life like this? All I want is to be able to spend my upcoming birthday with a guy who really loves me for who I am. "Uh... Elizabeth?" A co-worker said, snapping me out of my thoughts and bringing me back to reality. "Oh what's up JR?" I said to my co-worker Jr who's also my childhood friend. It's funny how we both ended up working in the same work field and company. His real name is junior Royal, but people call him Royal. I just call him JR, the shorter version. " Are you done with that scene I told you to draw?" Let me tell you more about my job. I work at Leon cooperation company. I'm in the manga industry; I'm an artist. Jr is an editor, he edits the work I do. The book we are working on is called Pure Romance. "Uh yes, I'm done. Here you go." I said as I hand him my work. "Thanks Liz! If you're... done with everything then you are free to go home early." Jr said as he took off with the drawings. What's the use of going home if I'm just going to be alone. I packed my stuff and headed home.
