Travis' P.O.V.

The horror movie had left me a bit scared; I won't lie. I jumped a few times during it, while Sal and Larry just kind of laughed.

When the movie ended, I put on some kind of gameshow just for the sake of having something to watch with the two of them. "Hey, where's your bathroom?" Sal turned to face me with the question, "Down that hall, first right door on the left." I answered. "Thanks." He replied, getting up and walking off.

Now me and Larry sat alone. I looked around the room, thinking of something to say. "So, what did you think of the movie?" The Johnson asked, beating me to it. "It was uhh..It was something." I told him, "Hey, thanks for coming with Sal here. I really want to make things right between us all." the more I spoke, the more I avoided eye contact.

"I only came here because Sal was going to be upset if I didn't." He told me. I nodded in acknowledgement, it made sense after all. They always looked to be really close.

"I've changed, I promise. I really do want to make it up to you all." I said, looking at Larry. "I know I've done messed up things to you guys in the past, but I'm really trying to get passed that all and make it up to you. I don't expect to be forgiven right away, I know. But please, give me a chance."

The room went quiet again for a few heartbeats. "I am giving you a chance, right now. Not for you though, for Sal. He's always seen the best in people, even when there's hardly anything." As the Johnson spoke, I felt a bit of reassurance. Like a tad bit of weight had been lifted off my shoulders. Maybe things would change for the better, and my efforts wouldn't be worthless.

"Thank you." I fidgeted a bit with my thumbs, looking back down at the floor. Just then, the bathroom door opened, and I looked up to see Sal step out. The Fisher walked over to us.
