It's already late afternoon, my rest is over. Tonight I have to play a game, with Chishiya supervising me. I don't particularly feel scared or anxious. I know Chishiya is smart enough to us out of trouble if needed, but if it's a game with only one winner, it will be more challenging. Let's not think about it.

I put on brown sweatpants and a black crop-sleeved top. Then change my sandals for a pair of black sneakers, I'm ready for whatever game I'll have to play. I'm about to leave my room to head down to the lobby and meet with Chishya but stop. I turn around and open a drawer. It has a double bottom, Chishiya told me about it and said that's where he had hidden my butterfly knife. I take it and put it in my pocket.

It never hurt to be prepared.

Now I am ready.

I go down the stairs carefully and observe how many other people are going out tonight to fight for their life. And there is quite some crowd waiting down there, like half of the beach is there. I take a better look around trying to find a silvered-haired man. But seems like he did first.

'Scared?' heH whispers in my ear from behind me, I flinch at the sudden proximity of our bodies. I turn around, our faces only a few centimeters away separating themselves.

I look directly into his cunning cat eyes. 'Exited' I whisper, earning a big smirk from him. We are interrupted by Hatter, who's delivering a speech.

'Alright, my fellow comrades. Tonight I trust you to fight hard for those cards and bring them back to me. If you come back, you will be rewarded for helping the Beach with a huge party! So let's get going!!'. Wow, how pathetic, If you come back, that's really encouraging, and a party. I sight.

'Let's go, the car is waiting', I look back at him and nod. I follow him outside, there are only the two of us plus a woman of our age with a purple bikini on. She didn't even change like Chishiya and I did. She probably won't make it out alive. She climbs in the front of the car. The driver is already waiting with the motor on.

Chishiya and I both climb into the back of the car. The diver is about to go when there is a loud bang on my door. I jump slightly not expecting anyone else. That person opens the door

'Move your ass back'

''What are you doing here Niragi?' Chishiya immediately says, clearly pissed by his presence. 'You are not supposed to be coming with us'

Niragi just smirks and climbs in, forcing me to move into the middle of the back seat, snuggled between the two of them, great.

'Yeah, I changed the plans', he closes the door and the car moves forward.

The ride to the game arena isn't too long, fortunately. No one spoke, the tension so dense you could cut it with a knife. We all get out of the car and walk to the entrance of what looks like a jewel shop.

'Why did you come?' I finally ask Niragi who was a step in front of me. I see Chishiya's ears move slightly and the corner of his eye shines through his hair.

'Why couldn't I?' he says smiling

I just shake my head. 'I swear if I have to save your stupid ass in this game I'll kill you'
