Prince and knight: part 1

This is a two part since I was tired as hell and didn't wanna make the rest of the chapter when I wrote the first part.

I haven't been updating as I have been very tired lately and I apologize. I'll try to update every two days at least.

(George's pov)

"Now go, George you have to go I won't tell you again" My dad the king commands me.
"But dad! I don't want to!" I scream at him.
"Son, it's what best for our kingdom. Now do as I tell you to" Dad says sternly reaching his head up to intimidate me.
"Bring Dream with you, then you'll be fine" My dad tells me.
"Fine" I say and angrily look at him.
"Your carriage will be here at 12" Dad tells me and waves me off.

Okay so me and my knight just got sent off to marry some random princess. Great I know.
But at least I can bring Dream. Him and I are together in secret so that will be fine.
I rush to Dreams room in the knight area of the  castle. I rush into their living room. The knights there are Dreams friends as they share a room with him so I know them pretty well.

They laugh as I push the door open angrily and look around for Dream pouting as I realize he isn't there.

"He's still asleep. He had a late shift last night" Dreams best friend Sapnap informs me.
"Thanks" I say angrily.
"Damn who killed your bird at breakfast?" Sapnaps boyfriend Karl asks and laughs as he finds himself so funny.
"My dad" I say and roll my eyes.
"You have serious daddy issues buddy" Sapnap says and pats my back.

"For real!" A loud voice booms from the couch. Quakity Sapnap and Karl's friend Quakity speaks from the couch he's laying on half asleep.

I sit down on a chair next to the couch with Quakity on it. After about 5 minutes Dream comes out of his room.

He's wearing a pair of gray sweatpants that hung loosely around his waist and a very see through white shirt. His eyes are barely open and his hair is messy from sleeping. Very different from Dream when he's working or awake.

He stretches and yawns.

"Why are you guys yelling?" He asks calmly.
"We were taking about how George has daddy issues!" Quakity pipes up.
"Wait George?" He asks.
"Yeah I'm here" I say and laugh.
"Then come over here" Dream orders and laughs.

And unlike talking to my dad I do as he's telling me.
He embraces me in his arms and I can smell his smell of lavender and rain.
I stay in the embrace for what feels like a minute but was probably more like 5 minutes.

He lets go of me.
"Now Georgie why are you here?" He asks and looks me in the eyes to find any emotion.
"My dad wants us to go meet some princess" I tell him and look at my hands.
"What time?" He asks.
"12" I reply shortly.
He nods and sits down in the chair I just sat in.

"Great so another roadtrip" Dream says and laughs tiredly.
"You can always just sleep in the carriage" I say and laugh.
"That's true" He replies.

(Time skip to when the carriage arrives at George's castle)

Dream and George sit down in the carriage.
Dream changed his clothes to a black turtleneck with back cargo pants with his armour and sword. He has a lot of weapons on him as he needs to protect me with his life.

He puts his head on my shoulder and after not even 4 minutes he's asleep.

Poor guy had a night shift just to have to go with me on a trip to go meet some random princess. I can't change that now can I.

I sit and read a botany book I brought for the ride to the other kingdom. It's a very interesting book about flowers and herbs. What you can make with them and stuff. Not exactly something I need as I'm not a witch but it's fun to read about non the less.

I spend the whole 4 hour ride reading and admiring Dream as he sleeps.

(When they arrive at the kingdom)

Dream has awoken by the time we arrive at the kingdom of Jeadea. We're meeting the princess Alicia. She is the princess and next in line for the wealthy and famous Jeadea.

Dream gets out the carriage and puts out a hand for me to grab as I walk down the steps.
The only person by the carriage is Alicia as her parents thought they would give us more time together.

"Hello" She says and smiles softly.
"Hello princess Alicia" I say and nod at her with a soft smile.
"Okay before we get to know each other I want to tell you" She says.
"I'm a lesbian and I have a girlfriend" She explains.

I sigh in relief so loud she can hear it, which makes her laugh.

"Phew, I'm gay and I have a boyfriend as well" I say and smile at her.
"Amazing, so what do we do?" She asks.
"Let's just get married or whatever but have our own partners" I suggest.
"That's a good idea actually, didn't know you princes had it in you" She says and laughs.

"Who is your girlfriend?" I ask.
"This girl from our kingdom named Quin, she's a baker in our local bakery" She smiles fondly as she rambles on about her girlfriend.

"Who's your boyfriend?" Alicia asks when she's done talking about her girlfriend.
"He's right over there" I say and point to Dream who's reading my book leaning on the castle wall.
"He looks nice" she says and laughs.
"He is" I say and smile at the thought of Dream.
"Do you wanna meet him?" I ask

I explained in the top why it's a two parter. So I hope you read it. The next part should be out tomorrow. I hope so at least.
I hope you all have a good weekend. Don't know if it's weekend when u read this but when I'm writing this it's Friday night so yes, weekend.

Anyway remember to eat, drink, sleep and take any sort of meds u may need.
