Ever heard this before? I'm sorry. If you ever hear it again, punch that jackass right in the nose. Human beings, being the most evolved form of life on the planet, transcend having mates purely based on appearance. There are no "leagues", and if you think you aren't good enough for someone because you think you aren't as attractive as they are (by your own standards), you need to rethink things.
Would it be sexually unappealing to be with someone you don't find very attractive? Possibly, but only if you have made no true bond with this person. What most people think is "love" is mere infatuation, or finding someone attractive. But if you truly bond with someone and truly love them, any sexual interaction is more than just finding them attractive, it's an act of love. You do things like that with a life partner, because the human mind's structure is built that way.
