Kakashi didn't like being up this early. It made him grumpy, whoever decided that they should leave at six in the morning was a complete asshole. Not to mention he was now in a bad mood because of it. But Y/n was making it hard to stay that way. She was practically bouncing up and down ready for their mission.
"How long do you think it'll take Kakashi?"           Y/n wondered.  "Eh? I dunno honestly."   Kakashi was no fun in the morning's. Y/n learned that the hard way. He wasn't like her. She barely ever slept and only felt rested because of the sleeping pill. She talked his head off all the way to the gate. But as soon as the other two Anbu officers appeared she shut up instantly and her whole personality changed. They were debriefed again on the mission and then headed out. Y/n hadn't said one word. Kakashi was really trying too. But she wouldn't budge. She was definitely not ready to be on her own yet. After four hours of walking they stopped to break. Y/n was tired of Kakashi trying to make her interact. The other black ops members didn't seem to care that she wasn't very talkative. But he kept insisting on bugging her. She sat under a tree far away from the group hoping Kakashi would sit with them. They chatted the whole way here so he must be their friend or something. But no he followed her and now she was watching him wave a sandwich in her face. Her expression was one of un-amusement as she snatched it from him and put it on her bag.

"Really Kakashi I'm fine, why don't you go talk to your other Anbu buddies huh?" She gestured to them. He turned and looked at them then shrugged.

"Nah. You're more fun." She scoffed. "Fun?....I'm fun huh? And how so?" He gave her a closed eye smile and faced away from her to gobble up his food. She sighed and began to eat her own sandwich. He turned back to her and watched her annoyed expression as she took small bites of her food. Chewing each one slowly. Her gaze was on her lap. Kakashi poked her and she squeaked a bit loud. Her blush came soon after as she looked to the rest of the group. They were laughing at themselves so they didn't notice. By the time she looked back to him he was having to hold in his laughter at her cute outburst.

"That's why, feisty."  She rolled her eye's at the stupid nickname he insisted on calling her. She traded kid for feisty, she wasn't sure she liked it too much.

"Man, really I'm fine. Wouldn't you rather hangout with your friends?" He scooted beside her and leaned on her tree pulling out his book. Was he really ignoring her? How childish.... "They're really not my friends. Sure we've gone on a lot of missions together. But it's not like I'm hanging out with them at home or anything. I'd say we're better friends than them." He stopped to glance at them then back to her. "And I've only known you for a month. If that says anything." He smiled at her then went back to his book. She didn't know why but the comment made her blush. She pulled out her book too but was too lost in thought to actually read it. Then it was time to get going again. Kakashi didn't know what he said for Y/n to be so lost in thought but she was even more silent than before.

***TIME SKIP FOUR'S HOUR'S Y/N POV***

My stomach was complaining and so was I. To Kakashi anyways. We were way behind the group and I just couldn't help but surrender my composed mood for a hangry one that Kakashi was now taking the brunt of. I had eaten a lot of food pills but they weren't cutting it. Stupid time off. Usually they worked....
"You said we were almost there right?"  She pleaded. They would be staying at an inn near the Lord's house till the caravan of gold arrived in the morning. He promised her food and he was going to pay up. He nodded at her.   "Yup see that big tree?"       She nodded at him.   "That's where the inn is."   She almost jumped for joy. She'd have run the rest of the way if it didn't make her look stupid.

He told her to wait outside and he along with the rest of the group went into the office. I walked out the front door and lit a cigarette standing off to the side. I packed extra, and it seemed my smoking habit was getting worse. I puffed on it while I took in my surroundings. The village was small but expensive looking; the Lord's personal village was way fancier than Konoha. It almost looked out of place in the middle of the forest. Tree's were towering all around them. She watched as people went back and forth on the busy streets. Although the village wasn't huge it was crowded. Just standing there was putting her on edge. She was on high alert waiting for something to happen. It was starting to kill her hunger. Kakashi finally came back scoffing at her for smoking again but he nodded at her to follow him. They passed a bunch of small doors that were identical till they finally stopped at number 15. He unlocked the door and went inside, setting his backpack on the couch. The room was small. There were two tiny beds to the right and a small bathroom then there was a small tv and closet on the left. I sighed it definitely wasn't home but I was actually glad of the company. At home I knew I was alone and my thoughts consumed me entirely. It was just so quiet and empty it drove me nuts. I put my bag down too and sat on the bed closest to the bathroom.
