***3rd Pov Four Months Later***
Y/n's life had become quite routine. Kakashi and her were close to celebrating their one year anniversary and Sasuke was practically a little brother now. Her kiddos were growing up quite fast, although they had much to learn the kids were on the right track well two of them were anyways. The last few weeks something about Sasuke just felt off.
She watched as Naruto and Sasuke sparred. The black haired shinobi was really pounding on Naruto, he was running circles around the blonde, leaving him little room to defend himself. She let this go on for a few minutes before deciding to step in. Both the boys stopped when they spotted her coming forward. Poor Naruto couldn't even stand up straight, he was bent over panting like crazy. Sweat was pouring down his flushed face. While Sasuke only looked at his sister with a confused expression.
"Hey why don't you take a breather there champ."
Y/n said, while patting Naruto's shoulder. The exhausted boy sighed then crumbled to the ground. Her gaze landed on Sasuke who looked back stubbornly.
"Hey let's have a little chat okay?"
Although she had asked nicely, he knew it wasn't a request. These 'little' talks between them were becoming frequent here lately. Sasuke followed his sister to the tree she had been sitting under reluctantly.
"Are you okay?" She'd asked the kid this question a hundred times and his response was always the same.
"Yeah I'm fine."
Y/n held his gaze for a moment before sighing in defeat. If there was one thing the white haired woman knew, it was that stubbornness ran in the Uchiha blood. He acted the exact same way she had at that age. However there was one huge difference. Her brother didn't slaughter her parents. Sasuke had been bringing up Itachi a lot lately, so much so that Y/n was becoming concerned. He was starting to withdraw from everyone and was keeping his distance even at home, leaving early in the day, not returning till really late at night.
She scoffed at him then folded her arms across her chest. Sasuke knew this stance. She wasn't budging no matter what he said. An exasperated sigh escaped his lips before he plopped on the ground. Y/n joined him and lit a cigarette before speaking. Man, she wished Kakashi was here. He was a guy and probably understood more about this situation than she did. Guy hormones were something way beyond her pay grade. The thought of Kakashi made her chest hurt. Lady Tsunade sent him on a mission two weeks ago to find Jiraiya. Who knew what rock that perverted little toad was hiding under. She shook her head. One problem at a time Y/n thought returning back to the Sasuke issue.
"Hun what's going on?"
She inquired sternly, there was no way he could keep weaseling his way out of answering the question. But as usual the boy only shrugged. Ugh someone come smack some sense into this damn kid!
Sasuke could see Y/n getting frustrated, emotions weren't really her thing. In fact Kakashi sensei was the one helping him work through some of his baggage. But just like the silver haired man's girlfriend he was also getting nowhere when it came to convincing the young shinobi to give up on revenge. So the three were at a stalemate mate for now, both sides exhausted from the constant bickering as of late.
"Is it about Itachi? Look Sasuke if you're that adamant about finding him, why not ask Lady Tsunade in a few years to.."
"No!" The black haired ninja shouted while standing up.
"I've already told you once, Y/n. I don't have years, I'm running out of time now. Who knows what that bastard is up to right now. He already murdered our family Onee-Chan, how much more encouragement do you need before he decides to come back and finish the job?"
