Authors POV
Zahra dressed up because she was going grocery shopping. Aliyah visited so she left Aafan at home. And hadiza was also there.
"Aliyah sai na dawo"(till I come back). Zahra said and aliyah baded her goodbye. "No no no, baby Aafan don't cry." Aliyah said because he started crying.
"Shhh." Aliyah said. She played a lullaby on her phone and he calmed down. Before she blinked he was asleep.
"Finally." She heaved a sigh and chuckled. He was in her arms when she took her phone and started texting Faisal.
The chat:
Aliyah: heyy
Faisal: hello boo
Aliyah: 😂you're not alright
Faisal: you know we're going to end up together so stop pretending😒
Aliyah: toh sorry sir
Faisal: aliyah!
Aliyah: Faisal!!!
Faisal: shaa I love you😘
Aliyah: I love you too🫣
End of chat.
She offed her mobile data and kept her phone. She wanted to give Aafan a bath. "Kada ki damu I'll do it."(don't worry). She heard hadiza say.
"No I'll do it." Aliyah said. "No don't stress yourself, just rest and I'll give him a bath." Hadiza was adamant.
Aliyah didn't know the reason why hadiza was determined to give him a bath. "Okay, ba damua ki mashi wanka."(no problem give him a bath). Aliyah said and gave hadiza a small smile.
Hadiza collected Aafan and went upstairs.
Hadiza brought out the white powdery stuff from her body after making sure she locked the door properly. "Your stay here has come to an end." She said smirking.
She put a little bit of the white substance in Aafans mouth. Aafan didn't do anything as he was just an innocent baby.
"Bye bye Aafan." Hadiza said smirking.
She kept Aafan on the bed and went out of the room. She went downstairs and lied to aliyah that she gave him a bath and now he is asleep.
Aliyah promised herself to go check up on him after sometime.

"Why isn't he waking up?" Aliyah asked herself. "Aafan." She called. She put her hands on his nose and checked if he was breathing.
"Inallilahi wa inna ilaihi raajiu'n." She muttered. "He is gone." She said. "Aafan!" She called again. She was crying.
"Hadiza!!" She yelled. Hadiza came running inside the room immediately. Aliyah gave her a hot slap on the cheek. "What the fuck did you do to Aafan?!" Aliyah yelled.
"M-ma'am I didn't do anything, I just gave him a bath." Hadiza said her hand placed on the spot where she recieved the slap.
"You're lying! I don't know why you were so eager to give him a bath, I knew something was wrong."
"Aafan isn't breathing! What did you do?!!" Aliyah yelled. "M-ma'am how could you think I did anything to him?" Hadiza said feigning hurt when she knew very well she was behind his death.
"Yi mini shuru!"(shutup)! Aliyah yelled.
"But-
Aliyah didn't allow her to finish she landed another slap on her cheek. "Wallahi you'll be punished if I find out you are actually behind this, just wait till I get evidence shegiya."
Aliyah picked Aafan up immediately. "Driver !" She kept yelling till he finally came. "Take me to a nearby hospital." Aliyah said and they got in the car immediately.
They got to the hospital and Aafan was being checked up. Aliyah called Zahra immediately. "Z-Zahra." She said stammering.
"What aliyah, I'm almost home." Zahra said. "Meet me at LIMI HOSPITAL." Aliyah said. "W-what happened?" Zahra was starting to get worried. "It's Aafan." Aliyah said.
"W-what?" Zahra said tears dropping already. "Come fast." Aliyah said and ended the call. She called hakim to come too and he was on his way.

"I'm sorry, he didn't make it." The doctor revealed. "NO!" Zahra yelled.
"No no no, my-my don is still alive stop lying!" She yelled again. How could they say something like that?
"I'm sorry ma'am, take heart." The doctor said pitifully. "Hakim she is lying! I'm sure they didn't check him well." Zahra said crying. "Zahra, h-he is...gone." Hakim said silently. He was hurting on the inside.
He had to stay strong for Zahra atleast. "NO !" Zahra yelled. "Wallahi ban yarda ba." (I swear I don't agree). Zahra said. She refused to believe that he is truly gone.
"We have wrapped his body in white clothing, you can take him for burial." The doctor said. "Shutup!! How can you do that!! He must be hot now! Go remove the clothing where is he?!" Zahra said all at once running into the room he was in.
"No remove this." Zahra wanted to remove the clothing but hakim stopped her. "Zahra! He is gone!" Hakim yelled to get her into her senses. She started crying profusely and he hugged her.

"Zahra." Hakim called. He was outside her room which she locked. "Zahra please open up, you need to eat." Hakim said. He was trying his best to be strong.
He just wanted to let out all the emotions. He will surely punish whoever is behind this. He cried burying his sons dead body.
Zahra finally opened the door and hakim went in. "Zahra eat." He said. "How can I eat when my son is buried six feet under the ground?" Zahra asked crying.
Hakim couldn't say anything. "Huh? Please answer me how?" She asked again looking at him. "Zahra I-
He broke down crying. He just can't believe his son is gone. Just how.
"But who could have done this?" Hakim asked. "Hadiza." They heard Aliyah's voice. "What?!" Hakim and Zahra stood up.
"Yes, hadiza did it." Aliyah said and narrated everything to them.
"Hadiza!!" Hakim yelled going downstairs hastily. "S-sir?" She answered. She was kind of scared. She knew how hakim becomes when he gets angry. After all she has been with him for the longest.
Why?
Because she is actually ASMAU. Hakims ex. "Don't sir me, why did you kill my child?!" Hakim yelled. His eyes were bloodshot red.
"ANWER ME!" He yelled. Aliyah flinched, she got scared at how thunderous his voice was.
"Sir I didn't do it." Hadiza said shaking. "STOP LYING!" He yelled again his voice thunderous. Zahra just stood there as everything unfolded in front of her.
Hadiza smirked. "Yes I did it! Because I am not hadiza, but asmau." She revealed. Zahra was beyond shocked. So was hakim and aliyah.
She went to the kitchen and came back. She wiped her makeup off. "Asmau?" Hakim asked and she smirked. Zahra walked forward and slapped her hard.
"Why? What did you gain asmau?! WHAT?! He was innocent." Zahra said yelling. "Asmau you could have targeted me why my child?" Zahra asked.
"I can do anything to get hakim." She said smirking. Zahra slapped her again. "Zahra how dare you?!" She yelled.
"How dare you kill my child?" Zahra retorted back. Hakim walked away and went to call the police.

"Take her away officer." Hakim said. "Hakim you can't do this to me." Asmau said as the police dragged her forcefully out of the house. Hakim didn't reply her. He just hugged Zahra while Zahra sobbed.
