3 weeks after the death of Aafan Ahmed Mustafa~

Zahra was broken, she refused to talk to anyone. She couldn't bare not having her child with her. Mama comes to visit her often and she always gives her advices.

Zahra was sitting in her room when mama entered. "Zahra." Mama called.

"Hmm?" Zahra hummed as a response.

"Can I tell you something?" Mama asked.

Zahra gently nodded.

"You know the surest in life is death, we all have our appointed time in life, every luxury, every comfort, and anything we could ever imagine, they will all be left here on earth, and in the end, it is only us and our deeds, remember we reap what we sow. You should know that if something is meant to stay with you forever, it definitely will even if it's far away and if something is not meant to be with you forever, then it will surely leave one way or the other. So Zahra'u I want you to move on with your life. Allah ya fimu sanin komai, kuma duk abin da ya tsara shi zai faru. You should know that Allah knows best and whatever he plans is what will happen. And you know, Allah loves you beyond imagination so he would never let you down.

I want you to be a better version of yourself by forgiving, if Allah forgives us for even our greatest sin then who are we not to? kulu khaybat 'amal niema. Every disappointment is a blessing. Zahra dear, I want you to move on with your life. And as for Asma'u, hakim has let me know that she is deeply sorry for what she did."

"Mama sorry won't bring back my Aafan will it?" Zahra asked crying already.

"Zahra, I know. But inshallah, I'm positive that Allah give you more than just a child." Mama said.

"Mama, I just can't, and even if I will, it'll be hard for me to forgive her." Zahra said, she was saying the truth.

"I know, but with time you'll heal from thins inshallah." Mama replied.

"Thank you mama." Zahra said hugging her.

"You're welcome dear, now please wipe those tears I don't want to ever see them again okay?" Mama said.

"I'll try." Zahra said.

"Please do, I can't bare to see my daughter like that." Mama said and smiled.

Zahra was truly grateful to have mama in her life, she isn't mama's biological daughter but mama treats her as if she was hers. "I love you." Zahra muttered.

"I love you more my daughter." Ayaat said and hugged her again then left the room after saying food will be brought for Zahra.

Zahra stood up from the bed and performed ablution. After she did, she prayed two nafila's. She felt her soul become calm as ever. She felt ease as she praised her lord.

She thought of Aafan and she thought, surely from Allah we are and to him we shall return. She picked up her Quran and recited the Ayah's of the Quran.

It was the only thing that brought her ease, it calmed her soul down Everytime and she couldn't be more grateful. "Allah jikan ka Aafan Ahmed Mustafa." (May your soul rest in peace). She muttered silently. A lone tear escaped her eyes and she quickly wiped it remembering her promise to mama.

She sighed and laid down on her prayer mat. Before she knew it, she fell asleep with ease.

~~~
"Zahra'u I'm glad to see you're back to your normal self." Mama said. "Alhamdullilah." Zahra muttered and smiled.
They were seated in the living room watching tv. "Bari in je kitchen." (Lemme go to the kitchen). Mama said to Zahra and left. It was now remaining Zahra and hakim in the room.
