Shelby's P.O.V.

I woke up around 7:30 in the morning. I decided to go downstairs to get breakfast. When I got down there I saw Abby eating some mini wheats, her favorite cereal.

Me-good morning

Abby-hey😔

Me- what's wrong?

Abby- what if I'm never able to play volleyball again? I'll never make the Mountain 1 team. I'll never play highschool and I'll never play college.

Me-Abby your-we're going to get back on our feet. Your worrying about nothing.

Abby-I think Ross likes me.

Abby said the statement as if it was like she said 'I like chocolate'

Me-when did you figure this out?

Abby-I overheard him, Ryland, and Riker talking.

Me-what are you going to do?

Abby-right now I'm going for a swim.

She wheeled into her room and when she came out she was wearing a black and pink flamingo bikini.

Bailey's P.O.V.

I woke up at 9:27 in the morning. I changed into sweats and a volleyball teeshirt that said

'If Volleyball were easy they'd call it Football'

Gracey absolutely hates this shirt. I grabbed my crutches from the bedside and hobbled out to the living room/kitchen. I saw Ross, Rydel, Shelby, Gracey, and Rocky sitting on the sofa watching the morning news.

TV- ' a car full of 6 people was picked up by a helicopter off of highway 15 early Saturday morning. The passengers were Steve Sparks, Amy Sparks, and their 4 children Abby Sparks, Bailey Sparks, Gracey Sparks, and Shelby Sparks. Steve and Amy died, while their children were released from the hospital yesterday afternoon. Amy and Steve Sparks' funeral will be Friday in LA California. And now to Jeremy for the weather.'

Rydel clicked the TV off.

Rydel- we're really sorry about what happened.

I hung my head and turned back toward my room. Shelby and Gracey followed me.

Gracey- I know your sad Bailey but we have to be social, and stick-
