THE DAY I (almost) DIED

School part 2

Abby's POV

As I looked down at my scedule I noticed I had all my classes with Ross.

Me-sweet I'm with Ross!

Riker-look, we have all the same classes.

Gracey-cool, I guess.

To me, Gracey looked upset. Maybe it was her dream last night. I don't know why but ever since Ross put his arm around me during charades, she seemed pissed at me.

I grabbed my binder and headed to history with Ross.

When we got to history I became the center of attention. Everyone was staring at me. Ross put his arm protectively around me, glaring at everyone, like don't you dare stare at her. I sat down near a girl with blond hair and blue eyes.

Me- is this spot taken?

The girl stuttered- n-no

Ross sat across from me and watched the girl closely. She looked down at her paper, eyes wide. I glanced around the room, seeing all eyes on me. I put in my headphones plugged into my phone, playing Smile by R5. Stormie had guessed the teacher would know about the crash and when he walked in, he glanced over and gave me a sympathetic look. He didn't shout at me to take my headphones out, he just pointed at me and said my name, then went on with the lesson. I stared down at my paper, noticing that we were studying Greece and Greek mythology. I took out one headphone to listen in.

Teacher- so can anyone tell me the names of the 12 Olympian gods?

I raised my hand to answer. The teacher looked surprised, along with the rest of the class, but he nodded his head.

Me- Zeus, Hades, Posiden, the big three, Hera, Athena, Artemis, Apollo, Hermes, Ares, Aphrodite, Hephaestus, and Dionysus

The teacher looked shocked. He probably thought I was special needs after the car wreck. We were all going to get counceling sessions because of it, but we weren't special needs

Teacher- very good. May I ask, who is the father of Perseus?

A random student shouted- Posieden!

Teacher- no but good try.

I raised my hand- Zeus, lord of the sky's and king of the gods was the father of Perseus.

Random student- but percy Jackson was named after him and he's a son of Posieden!

Me- movies or books?

Random student- movies of course!

Me- the movies don't say anything about Perseus, only that percy was named after him. In the books, it was clearly stated that Perseus was Zeus's son.

Random student- your such a geek!

Ross stood up beside me. I managed to push him back in his seat.

Me- you forgot the R.

The student gave me a disgusted look and turned around, muttering -stupid cripple.

I plugged back into my phone and put Smile on repeat. I couldn't wait to get home and practice with DT.

Over the rest of the day I got the same treatment with every one of my classes. my teachers never gave me any homework, like the rest of the class, go figure.
