Garret's P.O.V.

Me-are the Sparks' here?

I was surprised when Ross Lynch answered the door.

Ross-yes. You a friend?

Me-yeah. Gracey and I go way back.

Ross-Gracey!!!! You have a visitor!!

Gracey walked to the door in a sling on her right arm.

Gracey-Garret!

Me-sup. you left without me.

We high 5ed and I walked in the door. I saw Shelby in a sling and Bailey on crutches in a shirt that said

'If volleyball were easy they'd call it Football'

Me-why are you wearing Gracey's least favorite shirt? You're lucky you haven't been punched.

Bailey smiled weakly.

Me-where's Abby?

Shelby-she's swimming in the pool out back.

Abby walked in. No, she rolled in. She was in a wheelchair.

Gracey-why weren't you at the house when we left? We left without you because you weren't there.

Me-I was on a date with Jessica.

Gracey-oh.

Ryland spoke up

Ryland-so garret, how old are you?

Me-eighteen.

Ryland-but Gracey's taller than you!

Gracey- I have OSD

Ryland gave her a quizzical look.

Gracey- Osgood Schlatter Disease. I grow too fast. My tendons are growing over my bones.

Ryland-oh.

Me-so when are you gonna be able to play football?

Gracey- about 4 weeks

Me-that's way too long!

Abby-it's better than 4 months like me.

I realized I struck a nerve. Gracey's injury was nothing compared to Abby.
Gracey snapped me from my thoughts.

Gracey-then I get my stitches out in 8 weeks.

Me-stitches?

Abby-she cracked her skull open in the crash.

My mouth fell open. I stuttered

Me-I -I had no idea that it w-was s-so bad.

Abby rolled to her room and when she came out again she was wearing sweats and an old MSU sweatshirt from Montana.

Abby- why are we questioning Garret and sulking around when there are board games to play and popcorn to pop?

Abby's P.O.V.

We decided to play charades. For some odd reason i was chosen to go first. Gracey and Shelby were giggling.
Ross stood up and moved his chair next to me.

Gracey stood up and started pretending to sing.

Me-um band..

Gracey held up five fingers

Me- band 5 uhhh r5!!!

Gracey-yes!

I drew a card from the middle. I pointed at Ross since i couldn't speak, indicating i wanted him to answer this one. The card said guitar. I pretended to strum and sing.

Ross- singer, guitar player?

I held up 1 finger for one word. He was so close!

Ross-guitar? Oh its Guitar!!

Me-yes!

Ross smiled. I sat back in my wheelchair and sighed. Then Ross did something i didn't expect. He put his arm around me.

Shelby, Gracey, and Bailey looked at each other.

Rydel- Oookay.

She drew a card and started acting out for Bailey. I knew immediately that she was a flute player. But Bailey didn't have a clue.

Bailey- air piano? Whistling? Yoga? I don't know!!

Me-can i please answer for her. This gonna take hours.

Rydel-i guess

Me-your a flute player!

Rydel- how did you not get that Bailey?

Bailey-I'm not very good at charades!

We all laughed. I smiled at Ross. He blushed. I giggled.

Shelby-did you just giggle Abby?

Me- uhh no?😏

Gracey-you did!! I saw you!!

Me-Can we please just stop? And by the way, is anyone else getting hungry?

Rocky- yeah I'm getting hungry.

Ross-we have subway. Its just down the block.

Me-i have wheels. I can get there faster.
Everyone just enter their order into my phone.

Gracey-i'll go with you.

Me-ok. I didn't want to be all alone. Plus i can't carry all that stuff by myself.

I passed my phone around and put on my shoes as everyone entered their order. When i got my phone back, i saw that Ross had put hearts around his order. Either he really likes roast beef sandwiches, or he really likes me.

When we got to Subway i ordered everything the crew wanted. Extra pastrami for me. Then Gracey carried half of the sandwiches and i carried the other half.
