Getting up from the couch I run over to the counter where my phone lay, vibrating like crazy. "Hello?" I answerinto it.
"Hey Tabitha," Rachel's voice sounds on the other side.
"Hi Rachel, what's up?" I ask her, walking back to the couch and plopping down onto it, muting the television.
"I was wondering if you'd to come to my flat right now. Liz and Jen are already here. We're kind of brainstorming some stuff for the trip," Rachel explained to me. I nod even though she can't see me.
"Sure, Rachel, I'll be over in twenty. Just let me do my hair," I reply and turn off the TV.
"Okay, sounds great!" Rachel said, hanging up. I hung up my own phone and ran up the rest of the stairs. Plugging in my straightener, I went to my room to pick out a scarf. Once I had one picked, I run down stairs and lay it on top of my coat. Going back up the stairs I enter into the bathroom and start straightening my hair.

I pulled my car into Rachel's driveway, seeing Lizzy's and Jenna's vehicles already parked. I hopped out of mine and went to the front door, walking right in. "Hello?" I call through the house, closing the door behind me and taking off my coat and boots.
"Up here, Tab," Rachel calls from upstairs. I throw my scarf onto the floor where my coat already is and walk down the hall finding Lizzy, Rachel and Jenna sitting in a circle on Rachel's pink bed. "Hey, girly," Rachel greets me, patting the bed next to her. I sit down on the bed between Rachel and Lizzy.
"So, brainstorming huh?" I ask them. They all look down. Uh-oh. "You're not brainstorming, are you?" I say suspiciously, eyeing each of them.
"Well..." Lizzy trails off.
"Not exactly." Jenna finishes for her.
"What do you mean 'not exactly'?" I asked them. I have no idea what's going on, which is starting to scare me.
"Well, you know that crush you've had a Harry for a while?" Rachel asks.
"Crush? On Harry? I don't have a crush on Harry he's my best friend." I say, a little too defensively making it obvious I was lying. I did actually have a small... okay, big crush on Harry. It's weird because sometimes he can be a total ass, but other times we have some moments where we've been particularly close. Harry's been going out with quite a few girls recently, though, which isn't like him. And the girls he goes out with are all whores that Harry's way too good for. It's upsetting because I know I could be so much better for him. That's when Niall comes in; he knows when I'm sad and he comforts me. He doesn't ever ask why he just knows that I need someone. Niall and I have had a few occurances where we've gotten pretty close as well. It can be really back and forth between the two for me.
"Tabitha, don't act dumb. All the girls in this room know you do so don't even try to deny it," Jenna says sternly.
"Okay, yes, what about it?" I reply reluctantly. Rachel gives a worried glance to Lizzy who looks at me guiltily.
"He's going out with another girl." Rachel admits. "Zayn told me last night when we were on the phone. We thought you'd want to know even though it probably hurts." I nod slowly and started playing with a loose string on the blanket. What was wrong with Harry? He wasn't a player or a man-whore. He used to chose girls with self-respect and who were nice and caring, but now he's totally different.
"We're sorry," Lizzy says sympathetically, rubbing my back.
"It's alright. Thank you for telling me," I reply, giving them a weak smile. "I just don't know what's wrong with Harry now. He used to date so little and when he did they were pretty and smart and kind. Not these sluts that he meets at a club and brings home to go out with for a few days. Even though it does hurt to see that, it makes me mad too, you know? He's such a great guy he deserves better..." I trail off, thinking that I could treat him like he should be treated.
"We don't know either, Tabitha," Jenna says with a loud sigh, "but whatever his problem is, it's not benefiting him that's for sure." I nod in agreement. Deciding I want to go (so I could cry in private), I get up from Rachel's bed and walk to the doorway.
"Thanks again guys. I think I'm gonna go; I'll talk to you guys later," I tell them, giving them a wave before running down the stairs. I just plop down in the driver's seat of my car when the tears become too much to hold back anymore. I rest my head on the wheel and let the tears flow.
**
Slamming the door behind me I run up the stairs and into my room, flying onto the bed. I toss my phone onto my bedside table and dig my face into the pillow, letting out loud sobs. Why did you have to fall for him? I sniff loudly and sit up on my bed, wiping my tears off my face. I hear my phone vibrating and I pick it up, seeing who it was. 'Niall Horan'. Unlocking my phone, I put it to my ear.
"Hello?" I answer, trying to suppress the sadness in my voice but failing.
"Tabitha? What's wrong?" Niall's worried voice asks.
"Just some stupid guy p-problems," I choke. More tears start streaming down my face. Niall sighs into the phone.
"It's Harry isn't it?" He asks. Now it was my turn to sigh.
"Yeah. I just don't understand why he's going out with these girls! They're not good enough for him!" I almost yell into the phone, as I'm begin to get angry.
"I know. We all know it, Tabitha," Niall tells me, "I'm sure that he knows it too. Something's just been up with him. Don't worry though, they'll be over with soon. You know how it is." I blow a breath of frustration.
"Yeah I guess," I say.
"How about some food? You know that always cheers a person up. What are you in the mood for?" Niall asked me.
"I'm kind of in the mood for some ice-cream," I admit, and chuckle. This is why I loved Niall; he always knew how to cheer me up. I could almost hear him smiling through the phone.
"I'll pick you up in ten," Niall says before hanging up.
