Joshua smiled at Jeonghan as Chan walked away, "I like him. We'll see how he and Vernon get along and maybe play matchmaker then?"

“Sounds great! I’m so glad you like him. The more people he has to talk to, the better. I know even if he and Vernon don’t work out then him being in our group will help him a lot.” Jeonghan told him.

Joshua nodded, "He seems so sweet! I can't wait to get to know him better and we can all hang out."

Minghao ran up to them, "Joshua it's 8:55. Vernon's not here. The rest of the band is outside getting ready."

"Oh okay, I'll see you later Jeonghan!" Joshua said before walking away with Minghao.

Joshua smiled as he walked on stage, waving at Chan. He watched as Chan waved back, but his face changed. Joshua realized Vernon had walked on stage and Chan's eyes were locked on him, his hand still in the air from waving. Chan was pretty much stunned by Vernon and it was hilarious. Joshua figured this was good for Jeonghan's plan as he watched him pull Chan's hand down, Chan not looking away from Vernon. PpIf only Vernon would stop looking at the floor, which Joshua found odd.

Jeonghan couldn’t help the smile that came when he noticed Chan freeze when Vernon came on stage. He reached over and pulled gently his hand down, being careful not to distract him from Vernon. Now if only Vernon would look up…

Vernon bent down to pick up his jacket before the song was over. Jeonghan watched him carefully, he knew Chan was still watching him. If only Vernon would look up. His prayers were answered when Vernon finally looked up into the crowd, right at Chan. Jeonghan had to keep himself from jumping up and shouting yes.

Joshua noticed Vernon stop as he finally looked up and then he saw Jeonghan smiling and freaking out. He realized this meant Vernon was staring at Chan. The way he was stopped told Joshua that Vernon probably had the same reaction as Chan. A minute passed before Joshua walked up to him, nudging his shoulder with his own.

"Dude… What are you doing? Introduce the next song!"

Vernon didn't look at Joshua as he answered, "Oh uh… What's the next song again? I forgot the setlist…"

Joshua rolled his eyes, suuuure that's why. "It's Bands Boy. We always do that one as an introduction, are you okay?" He laid his hand on Vernon's shoulder, still not getting his eyes off Chan.

"Perfect. I'm perfect." Vernon said as he smiled, causing Joshua to roll his eyes again, smiling himself. He hadn't seen Vernon smile like that in a long time.

“Chan… Channieee… Chan Chan… Earth to Channie. Hello?” Jeonghan put his hand on Chan’s shoulder and shook.

“Yeah?” Chan didn’t look at Jeonghan, his eyes still glued to Vernon, who was still looking at him.

“Are you enjoying the view there?” Jeonghan couldn’t help but laugh a bit at Chan. Chan just knocked his hand off his shoulder. Vernon then announced the next song. Jeonghan watched as Chan leaned forward and put his head on his hands, giving Vernon a lovesick look. Ohhhh… he’s got it BAD.

Joshua noticed Chan leaning forward, staring at Vernon like a lovesick puppy. He laughed as they started the next song. He moved so he could see Vernon's face too, watching him not break eye contact. Oh god he's giving the same look back.

This is gonna be interesting. As we played the second verse, Vernon jumped off the stage, scaring the shit out of me. He'd never done anything like that before. He walked right through Minghao and Soonyoung, straight to Chan's table, causing Joshua to point at him in surprise.
