Nova and Chishiya were overlooking the absolute chaos that had broken out in the lobby. Arisu and Usagi trudged their way through the crowd, making it to Aguni.
Nova fought every cell in her body to not go down there and hug them to know if they were ok. Chishiya noticed Nova tense up at the sight of her friends and placed each of his arms on either side of her on the railing to make sure she wouldn't go and put herself into more trouble.
They were pretty close but honestly, Nova didn't care, she was too focused on the situation before her to even notice.
Chishiya watched everything unfold over Novas shoulder, she was looking longingly at Usagi and Arisu.
Chishiya was too focused on how close they were to even know what was going on in the lobby, he had the urge to hold her to comfort her, it felt as if they were sharing the same pain, like he could feel her pain.
He saw the way she looked heartbroken as Arisu and Usagi were thrown across the room, trying to stop Aguni from killing anymore people, he wanted to do something, he fought every urge and muscle in his body from doing so.
Nova tensed even more when Arisu was on the ground struggling to breathe, her fists clenched the railing until her knuckles turned pale.
"No more innocent people have to die Aguni! I understand your pain, the pain of killing your own best friend, I felt the same way, I felt empty too!" Arisu shouted. Click. 'He killed hatter??' Nova thought to herself.
Nova zoned way out, she wasn't sure for how long but when she finally came back into reality she found Arisu pointing at Momoka's body, 'of course, if these stupid people would have thought for a minute and worked together instead of killing anybody in sight, we could have finished this game long ago.'
Ann ran into the room with Kuina supporting her side, "a reverse grip! A reverse grip was found on the knife! Momoka stabbed herself!"
"Well what are we waiting for?? Let's get her into the fire!" Some random guy said.
Aguni stood there, he looked lifeless, like he had nothing behind his eyes. Nova was focused on him, wondering what overcame him to kill his own friend, until she heard gunshots and directed her attention to the figure strolling into the lobby as if it was a normal day.
"Ouch that hurt" Niragi said tauntingly.
'Didn't he just fall off of a damn building? How tf did that just hurt?'
He started firing shots everywhere, but Arisu and Usagi charged at him, only to be thrown off of his shoulders.
Agunis lifeless eyes turned into a deadly stare as he charged at Niragi, Aguni got shot many times but he only stumbled a few times and continued forward, taking Niragi into the spreading fire with him. There were a few more echoing gunshots heard before complete silence.
"What are we waiting for?? Help me get momoka into the fire!" Kuina yelled, running to reach momokas body.
Most everyone in the lobby was out within ten minutes, along with momokas body. Nova decided it would be the best time to follow them out and stand by the fire, mourning all of the innocent people who have died.
She tried to go to follow them but bumped into a specific someone's back, Nova had forgotten about him for a while.
She decided not to turn, she knew how close they were and turning would cause her stomach to do flips. "Chishiya are we going down there?"
There was no answer, he wanted her to turn around and face him. "Chishiya??"
She inhaled a deep breath before turning around, he was closer than she had thought and her stomach started violently doing flips.
Chishiya saw the way her eyes widened and smirked, amused. "What?" He asked innocently.
"You know you can let me go now? We should probably join everyone by the fire right?" She asked, her stomach was stirring up a storm at this point.
"No" he shrugged, keeping a hold on her.
"What why?" She asked, still confused and flustered all at the same time.
"No reason" he said, he secretly wanted her to do something, to make the first move. Nova glanced down at his lips but looked away, patting his chest lightly before ducking under his arm to leave.
