"I have never seen this place before." Logan re-adjusted his flashlight, inspecting the passage they were walking down. "How did you even know this place existed?" The male stopped to look at Roman in question, who stood behind him.

"Back from when I was younger; I found it. I guess I forgot about it until now." Came his answer. There was more to it than that, both Roman and Logan knew it, but he didn't push the subject.

"Where now?" The group came to a stop upon approaching a crossroads of connecting passages that was found at the end.

Roman pushed past Logan, conjuring his own flashlight and taking the left turn, leading the way. Patton caught up to Logan and they watched Roman walk off in front of them.

"What's up with him?" Patton asked, noticing the change in his demeanour. Logan shrugged as he watched Roman, who was further down the passage ahead of them. "I'm not sure." He had his suspicions, but without all the information, he wasn't going to make any accusations. "Did you know this place existed?" Logan asked turning to Patton, only for his question to be answered with a gentle yet re-affirming head shake.

None of this made sense.

Both males were pulled from their thoughts as Roman called back to them, pointing his flashlight in their direction. "Are you two coming or not?!"

---

Soon enough the group came to a stop, in front of a large metal door.

"This is it." Roman gestured. The door was just a door. Nothing out of the ordinary except it was a door that you might find in a bank vault.

Logan took over, handing his flashlight to Roman as he set on to work on opening the vault door, only to be stopped by Patton's outburst.

"LOGAN WAIT!"

Roman seemed unfazed at the others' sudden frenzy, however Logan flinched glaring at the other in response.

"Geeze!" Logan took a slow steady breath to calm his heart rate before questioning Patton. "Patton?"

"We have no idea what's on the other side of that door! What was your plan, huh Logan. Go in blind and hope for the best? Everything about this situation feels all ... wrong." He began, uneasy. "Think about it. Deceit taking Virgil. Roman knowing about this place and not you." He points out his observations. "Now we are all standing in front of an ominous looking door that was far too easy to get to."

Logan stepped away from the door, turning towards Patton. "Roman already explained how he knew about this place." He reasoned working to diffuse the other's doubt. Seeing as it wasn't going to deter Patton, he continued. "Roman, mind explaining where this door takes us?" He asked, smiling at Patton, reassuringly.

There was a silence before Roman spoke up, clearing his throat. "Sure. When I found this place ... well more specifically this door, it led me to an observatory." Roman stalked towards the group, continuing. "If we had turned right at the crossroads back there, it would have led us to the library ... well another library used for archives." The last part caught Logan's attention. If it was a library full of archives then surely that would be something that he would have knowledge of, yet had not been made aware of its existence or whereabouts.

"See Patton. We know where we are going, and more importantly, what is behind this door." Logan placed a gentle yet firm hand on the other's shoulder, trying to read Patton's expression. "Ready?" Patton nodded in response, as Logan removed his hand, before taking his place by the unlocked vault door and swinging it open.

Roman was the first to enter. Up the stairs and straight into the spherical observatory. Next came Patton, then finally Logan who followed after, shutting them in.
