Arisu carefully pressed the number, he felt his fingers trembling as he moved them. "Continue."
Chishiya glanced at Aguni and grabbed his walkie talkie once again, holding it close to his mouth. "0" He replied, looking down at his shoes while closing his eyes. "Got it!. Oh sorry, I think I spoke to loudly." Arisu clicked the number once again, two more left to go. Chishiya heard Arisu's innocent voice, he didnt feel sorry for him at all. But something was stopping Chishiya from fooling him.
"Chishiya? You there?"
"Im still here. 5."
"Got it."
Arisu smiled unconsciously, he felt confident. Deep down he knew that Chishiya and him shared intentions. Only that both of them had different ways of expressing it, some more obvious than others.
"Chishiya..? Whats the last digit?"
Chishiya turned his head over to Aguni as he held the walkie talkie close to him, he clentched his fists and slowly turned around. He felt how a strange feeling of fear and anger invaded his body.
"Chishiya?"
Arisu looked at the safe, then looked at the half open door. "Hurry up, what is it?" Arisu started looking around the room hysterically. He felt as if the walls were closing in, time was running out. He could hear how people were starting to applaud at Aguni and the other superiours.
"Fuck it."
Chishiya dropped his walkie talkie to the ground and stepped on it multiple times, each time stronger than the other. He didnt stopped until it was crashed in small pieces, he rapidly finished breaking it and ran towards the meeting room.
He locked eyes with Niragi, who was next to Aguni. Both of them showed disgust to eachother, soon after Chishiya turned around the corner and dissapeared. He shoved some people from the hallway and kept running, his arms were now out of his pocket as he tried to reach the room before the meeting ended.
"Chishiya? Chishiya!" Arisu gently hit the walkie talkie so that it would properly connect again. "Chishiya? Are you there?" Arisu dropped the walkie talkie and hit himself in the face. "Why did I trust him. How was I so dumb?" he clentched his fists and hit the floor. He was going to be killed in less than a minute if he didnt do anything. His mind was filled with hate towards Chishiya and himself, he was not thinking clearly.
Chishiya catched his breath and sighed, he stood in front of the door and looked at Arisu. He was sitting on the floor while hitting it with his fists. They were turning bright red as he used up all his strength. "Arisu.." Chishiya mumbled to himself in a calm tone, he didnt know what he had to do. But the sound of footsteps behind him started becoming louder.
He finally couldnt hold it in anymore, he burst open and entered the room. Quickly running towards Arisu and snatching the walkie talkie out of his other hand. Throwing it out of the closed window, causing the glass to break.
"Chishiya?! What the hell!"
"We have to leave, or if not both of us will end up dead." Chishiya reached out his arm and smiled at Arisu. "Will you join me?" He asked.
Arisu raised one eyebrow. "They will notice if we leave by the door." Arisu could also hear the footsteps being milimeters away from the door.
In a moment of pure panic Chishiya grabbed Arisu from his shirt and forced him to stand up. Quickly grabbing his hand and running towards the window that lead to the pool, jumping as soon as they could.
Arisu locked eyes with Chishiya as he fell down with him. How could he look so calm in such a dangerous moment?
A loud splash could be heard from a distance, luckily Kuina was the only one near the pool area. "What are you doing?" She said while she approached both of them in a hurry. Kuina laughed while kneeling down to see what had happened.
Chishiya spit out some water and shoved his hair out of his face. "Arisu's an idiot." Chishiya whispered. He slowly got out of the pool.
"What the hell was that! Why didnt you give me the last digit?" Arisu snapped. He got out of the pool and took of his shirt.
"You didnt give him the last digit?" Kuina asked, she started biting that white plastic thing once again as she tried to process what she had just heard. "Why didnt you-"
"I have a good reason." Chishiya replied calmly. He took of his jacket and threw it over to Kuina. "Please take care of it until it dries." He waved his hand as in goodbye and left both of them confused. Shirtless Arisu soaking wet, and annoyed Kuina.
