Daniel had woken me early to say he was heading back to his room to get ready. He kissed my head before he left and I lay back to sleep. I wasn't needed at the track today and I planned to continue hiding out for the rest of the weekend. That was until.
Knock knock
I groaned and pulled myself out of bed. I pulled the door open to see my dad waiting. "Get dressed and meet me in the foyer. You've got 10 minutes"
"Papa, I'm just going-"
"10 minutes Olivia" he interrupted and walked down the hallway to the lift. I saw Lewis and Angela standing waiting for him. 'God sake' I thought as I pulled on an outfit. I headed down as quick as I could and met the group in front of the SUV that was taking us to the track. "You're in this one with me" my dad said and my heart sunk as we both climbed into another smaller car.

"I need to know that your okay" He said as we pulled away from the hotel.
"Me... I'm fine" I was taken back, what did he know?
"Lewis said you've been having some trouble with some of the guys"
"No... I mean it's fine I'm just settling in"
"Then why have you been hiding in your room" I didn't answer just shrugged my shoulders "you've wanted this since the minute you realised where I went for half the weekends of the year and now your missing the whole experience" he was right and I knew it. I should have been the first one at the paddock and last to leave instead I was already stuck in drama with half the guys I had met.
"I'm just trying to find the person I need to be here"
"You just need to be yourself... well not as crazy as you've been these last couple of years" he lifted his eyebrows. So he had heard the rumours of my university lifestyle
"What if that version of me doesn't fit in" I whispered. He reached his hand across and placed it over mine.
"I'm not worried about that at all, everyone you meet loves you, it's you who has to let them in.... I'm not saying be their best friends Olivia" he continued before I could get a word in. "Just you don't have to have your walls so high all the time."
"Sure" I added and looked away from him. We pulled into the car park after a while and the guys were waiting for us. I got out the car and spotted Mick hovering around. I went to walk away and heard George's voice. "Just let him apologise please"
"Ok" I hesitated for a moment but I knew he wasn't going to do anything. I walked over to the spot he was lurking in, I knew he didn't want to be spotted.
"Hey O" I took a deep breath and closed my eyes as I approached him. I still stood away from him, he didn't have my trust anymore. I turned to see the others but they had already gone on. I suddenly felt alone and exposed. "I'm so sorry for the other night... I got so drunk, I've never been that drunk in my life and it was like a darkness took over."
