Lando guided me in with a hand on my lower back. We walked up the stairs to be greeted by one of the busiest clubs I'd ever been to. "Just head for the back! Can you see the roped off section" he shouted in my ear and I nodded. I got the impression he was worried that it would overwhelm me, little did he know it was this environment I thrived in.

We got to the roped off area and the bouncer let both me and Lando in. The others had clearly already started the night and shouted at our arrival. Max ran at me and we both almost lost our footing and landed on the floor, luckily there was someone behind me who caught both me and Max's weight.

"Looking good Rojas" Charles whispered in my ear, his voice tickling my neck. We all laughed as I placed Max back on the couch and said my hellos to the others. "I'm so happy for you Charlie!" I shouted throwing my arms round Charles in excitement. We locked eyes for a moment, "you did good" I smiled. I noticed those deep brown eyes on me within seconds, I tried everything to avoid his gaze but it was addictive. We locked eyes and he smiled, I looked away and lent into Pierre who was chatting to me. A couple minutes later I saw a drink placed down in front of me. I looked to see Daniel walking away, he knew what I wanted without even asking. Beer on draft was my favourite drink, and I took a good few gulps. Lando was just coming on when I took Pierre's hand, "will you come and dance with me?" I asked and he nodded. We headed down to the main section and a few others followed.

Lando did an amazing set, max had gone up with him while we all partied. Most of the guys had stopped dancing and taken a girl or two up to the VIP section. Including Daniel.

I avoided going back up for as long as I could but Lando called me over when he headed back. I told him I was headed to the bar and picked up a glass of wine and a tray of shots. By the time I got back the girl was all over Daniel. Sitting on him kissing his neck and he rubbed his hands over her body. I did my shot and someone else's. It's okay, you can do this.

Famous last words. Our eyes locked as the girl was kissing his neck he had a clear view straight to me. He didn't break eye contact for a couple of seconds, then he pulled away and his lips landed on hers. He closed his eyes and so did I. Her lips where I wanted mine, his hands on her when all I wanted was them on mine.

I needed to get out of there, I didn't know what was wrong with me. I'd slept with guys and seen them with other girls before but when it's him.... He was playing with my feelings I was sure of it. I made my way outside to the patio area and sat down on one of the sofas. I had bummed a cigarette from a guy on my way out and sat smoking on my own. "I did not realise you smoked Rojas" I hadn't heard him approach but Charles had followed me out.

"I don't. It's a filthy habit" I replied smiling. I shivered in the cold breeze. "I just do it when it all gets too much some times. You know?" I shrugged my shoulders

"You're having a hard time?" He asked removing his jacket and placing it over my shoulders.

"No... we-well. I just made a mistake with someone and ended up developing some feelings I really didn't want." I was drunk and exposing more of myself than I normally would.

"Mick?" He asked

"No" I huffed "okay more than one mistake" I smirked. "I just wanted to have some fun and forget about everything else. But it's not worked out that way tonight."

"You want to get out of here Rojas?" He asked and held out his hand.. "we could go and get drunk in the safety of my apartment "

"Isn't this like your big moment! A night to celebrate a home win"

"I'd rather celebrate with you" he replied and I laughed, grabbed his hand and stood up. We headed back in and Charles pulled my hand back to the group of guys. He whispered in Max's ear, I watched them as he looked back at me. I saw Daniel gaze over from the girl he'd been with and looked into my eyes, I pulled closer to Charles. Daniel and the girl had seemed to pull apart from each other and you wouldn't have even said anything was going on between them. I hoped he would watch us walk out hand in hand. "Just telling him I was going to make sure you get back safe." I raised my eyebrows in disbelief, "I swear" he chucked. He took my hand back in his and we headed for the exit.
