I wanted this chapter to be longer, but it's been more than a week since the last update so here you go.  Not proofread, yet again, so please tell me if there's a typo or if a sentence makes no sense.

CW: Mention of drugs, mention of selling of drugs, Virgil used to be a teenage drug dealer, mentions of serious coffee addiction, oh also there's cursing but that's like the most mundane warning in this story

Remy quickly agreed to go get Virgil and his friends.  Of course, he would never say no, he wasn't about to leave a bunch of teens in a dangerous situation.

However, it was unfortunate to discover that he had to get ready in order to drive. Which meant a shower, coffee, getting stuff together, coffee, and saying bye to Emile.

The barista was very shocked when he was tuned in to the situation.  Which made sense, Remy had never talked to him about their hometown.  He didn't want to, which also made sense.

Emile had immediately offered to help set everything up, and with some convincing Janus let him.  The other had been the one to awkwardly explain everything while Remy was getting ready to leave.

"So, wait, how did you meet this kid again?"  Remy overheard as he entered the living room.  He had gotten almost everything except his keys, which he couldn't for the life of him find.  It was already 10:47, and he needed to leave as soon as he could.

"Some teacher was mad at him for not joining the basketball team, and he took it out on his grades,"  Not on the counter, "Remy found out and threatened to tell his wife about his affair with the nurse,"

"Sounds like the dude deserved it,"  Not in the drawer, "You guys all became friends after that, or what?" Not on the coffee table.

"Nope, we became friends after the kid started selling drugs... And coffee to Remy,"  They weren't in his room.

Emile grabbed him by the shoulder, "What are you looking for?"  Remy looked up, disoriented.

"Keys,"  He explained lamely, glancing around the living room for the mentioned item.  Emile gave him a look," Pockets, dear," Remy checked his pockets, and sure enough, the keys were there.

Remy gave Emile a quick kiss, "Thank you, babes,"  Before he was calling out that he would be back as soon as he could.  Which of course, meant more than 10 hours.

Once in the car, he messaged Janus, telling him to set up a group chat between Virgil, him, and Remy.  After that, he pulled out of the driveway and started on the road.

~~Timeskip Brought to you by Emile suddenly finding out about all of his boyfriend's past issues, in one go, like seriously, give him some time to process things???~~

Janus had barely finished the explanation for Virgil's past job before he got the message from Remy.

BB + Me & Virgin To Group 🥺

If it were anybody else Remy were messaging, this would have been met with a series of question marks.  But it was Janus, so he understood and added Virgil and Remy to a group chat with him.

Emile leaned over Janus' shoulder to read the message and watch Janus.  It was almost a peaceful silence as the group chat quickly descended into chaos, burning and melting into a mess.

There was a relatively short pause before Virgil responded, though the little dots kept going back and forth before a message was sent.
