Chapter 18 biting the bullet

Y/n's Pov:
Everyone is staring at me and I know it all waiting in anticipation internally I am a complete mess rn I don't how to tell then. Like heck if someone told me this I would send them to a mental ward as well. I take a deep breath and listen to hyuka's advise 'just buy the bullet' that phrase circles my mind. I feel like a hopeless mess. I take another deep breath and shut my eyes tight imaging a tropical paradise and bite the bullet. "I'm not sure how to tell you guys but I'm not soobin" I mumble. "Huh what did u say soobin hyung?" Beomgyu replies. "I'm not soobin I'm y/n" I say loudly this time just wanting to get it over and done with.

"Eh wdym ur not soobin how could u not be ur literally right in front of me" yeonjun says in disbelief. "It's really complicated like really complicated and I'm not quite sure how it happened either but if u let me explain" I say getting cut off by yeonjun "is this a prank that u and hyuka have planned cause it's not funny we've all noticed something off but saying ur this y/n gurl and not soobin is insane" yeonjun says still confused. "Soobin hyung or this y/n girl is this really true" beomgyu asks awkwardly "no way ur actually buying this bs beomgyu it's impossible." Yeonjun interrupts.  They keep arguing with one another all the noise and arguing is making me stressed this literally couldn't have gone any worse.

I try telling them to stop and hyuka notices and tries to help me but they aren't hearing us. I have finally had enough of it and just shout "everyone let me explain!!!!" Hoping I grab their attention which I thankfully do. They all just look at me shocked by how loud I was.

"IF U GUYS JUST LET ME EXPLAIN AND STOP ARGUING WITH ONE ANOTHER THINGS WOULD BE A LOT EASIER FKR EVERYONE" I say loudly again now out of breath. "Ok so as I said before I am not soobin but my name is y/n and I'm a Greek American who lives in new work and one day I woke up like this in Soobins life and idk why. And I would appreciate if you guys would stop fighting as I'm really stressed with everything right now like I just had to perform in front of ur fans for the first time." I say starting to get teary. I look up with my blurred vision and I see everyone with a shocked face.

"Come on guys do u still not believe me" I say desperately tears running down my cheeks. I really need ur help now hyuka. "It's true guys I've known about it for a while now we should've told u sooner but it was just as a big of a shock for as it is for u I promise she is telling the truth." Hyuka says.

"Wait but how is this possible, it's like something out of a freaky Friday movie" taehyun says. "I honestly don't know and I wish I did because I just want to go back to my home being an idol is so stressful." I say sitting on the floor now still teary. " it is stressful but we will help you I promise" beomgyu says nodding to to taehyun. "Yeonjun hyung you've become quite what do you think?" Taehyun asks "idk it's pretty hard to believe and it will be tough adapting to the change but if u guys think so I guess I have to, but likes do we tell our manager and ur our leader what r we supposed to do about that?" He asks.

" I don't think anyone else to know it took me this long to tell u guys and rn ur the only people I can somewhat trust around here." I say head down "yeah I agree it would be to risky we can't let this become a rumour" taehyun adds. "Also how is ur Korean so good u said u were from America and were Greek and u have no accent and sound just like soobin" beomgyu ask. "I honestly again don't know it's something that I've gained since the swap." I say "well that's convenient for all of us would've been a night mare but I guess we would've known sooner." Taehyun says. "Can u still speak English? Beomgyu asks. "Yes and no I can understand and read English still but when I try to speak it, it comes out like all spontaneous like before at music bank I say " that's weird" they all say in agreement. "Yeah and it means I can't even try to talk with my friends and family easily " I say sadly.

"Well why don't we get brighten the mood by getting food delivered and recover before going back to our training room to rehearse and practice more for our next stages" beomgyu says while opening menu log.

The food arrives and it's quite awkward as everyone is still processing the information from before. We just got some tteokboki and nice ramen. It was really good and I was really full after woods. We get into the van to head to hype, while in there I put my music in and take a quick nap.
