From the drama her mother started to the unexpected pregnancy, Armelle has been under a lot of stress. Tesia agreed to stay with them since Armelle needed help around the house.
She didn't know how to tell her husband the truth and she didn't know why her mother spoke to Tobias about her condition.
"Have you heard the news?" Armelle looked at Tesia and furrowed her eye brows before shaking her head.
"John's supposedly getting traded to the Kings." Her jaw dropped and Tesia nodded before taking a sip of her coffee.
"The deadline is coming up. Orlando could get Darren Collision and Ryan Hollins for John and Fournier." Armelle exhaled sharply and looked at her children as they played in the pool.
"Does he know that you're pregnant?" Armelle shook her head and sighed as Tesia stared at her.
"Mel, you have to tell him. You're gonna tell him today."
"Why should I tell him when he isn't the father!?" She stood up and walked into the house.
She was completely exhausted and simply wanted to stay in bed.
Her mood swings were hard to contain as of lately.
Interrupting her thoughts, her phone started ringing and she answered it.
"What could you possibly want!?"
"I want to see you. I haven't seen you in weeks, baby. Come over tonight, Mel."
"You're insane, John! What's the matter with you?"
"You! You're my problem! I can't get through the day without thinking of you!"
She looked out the window and saw him staring back at her. Shaking her head, she saw him hang up before walking away.
She locked her phone and tossed it onto the bed before sitting down.
Armelle closed her eyes and rubbed her forehead with a groan.
"Why did I have to go and screw my husband's friend and teammate? Why didn't I just leave him alone?"
She heard a knock on the door after a few minutes and got up to open it.
"Mother."
Eileen stepped in and smiled at her daughter, but didn't receive one back.
"I just wanted to bring you this." She held up a plate of homemade donuts and handed them to Armelle.
"I don't expect you to talk to me yet, but I just want you to know that I'm sorry." Armelle looked away from her mother and nodded before walking over to her bed.
"Thank you. We appreciate it. I'm gonna take a nap. I'll see you later." Eileen nodded and stepped out before closing the door.
She unwrapped the plate and picked up a donut before getting off of the bed.
Curiously, she looked out of the window and saw something that made her stomach turn.
Her mother and John hugging each other sensually before stepping into his house.
